Because I arrived in Congyang early in the morning from the Guiyang high-speed rail, the housekeeper arranged a car to pick me up, and the driver was also very considerate. The locals were simple and honest. While waiting for the room in the lobby, juice and coffee were available, and all the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous. The homestay is the best location in the central area of ​​Dong Village, quiet in the bustling city. The two of us booked the 520 castle in the sky that we saw at first sight. It occupies the best viewing position, overlooking the mountains, and feeling relaxed and happy. The room is clean, comfortable, and smart, which should be the top configuration in Dong Village. Yaoyu in the evening, rice noodles for breakfast, considerate greetings, I feel that the management team has a positive and upward career enthusiasm, which makes me and my teammates quite unforgettable. Outside the windows is the picturesque scenery of the Dong village, with stacked stilt houses, quaint drum towers, winding streams, and green mountains and clear waters in the distance. Every frame is as beautiful as a painting. When I woke up in the morning, the sunlight poured into the room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The morning mist in the Dong village was as ethereal as a veil, making me feel as if I were in a fairyland, which made me feel relaxed and happy. The facilities in the room are also very thoughtful, with a large and a small bed design that perfectly meets the accommodation needs of the whole family. The big bed is soft and comfortable, and the children can sleep soundly in the small bed. The whole family enjoys a warm and comfortable time here. The owner of the B&B was warm and hospitable, providing us with a lot of thoughtful services. He also patiently explained to us the history and culture of the Dong village, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of this land. Here, we not only enjoyed the charming scenery, but also felt the warmth of home. The reason why I chose Guizhou is that its tourism policy supports it and reduces the ticket burden for me. Second, Guizhou is a place with simple folk customs and the custom of ”celebrating small festivals lightly and celebrating big festivals grandly”. I wanted to experience the happiness of the local villagers, and eventually my destination was Zhaoxing Dong Village, which is known for its singing and dancing and is the best Dong village in the world. Before this, when traveling alone, it is inevitable that personal safety and a good experience would be the top priority. After repeated consideration, I chose the Bula Lakeside Hotel in Zhaoxing Dong Village. My choice did not disappoint me, as I knew nothing about the local scenic route and how to take a bus into the village. Fortunately, the staff at Lake Bula contacted me in advance the day before my departure and patiently answered my questions. In case I was afraid that my verbal information would be forgotten, they added me as a WeChat friend and repeated it in text form. This was a real plus for me among the many B&Bs I have stayed in. It was the first time I had such a good impression of an accommodation. Secondly, what made me happy was that I took a minibus to the village. It was noon when the sun was the hottest and brightest. I got off the bus at the minibus terminal and contacted the staff. The young man who came to pick me up was really enthusiastic. I could have carried my luggage by myself as I was traveling light, but I couldn't resist his enthusiasm and he rushed to help me carry my luggage to the store (which was very close, only 4-5 minutes away). In the store, the three young ladies at the front desk also welcomed me very warmly, with smiles on their faces and greetings. They checked me in and acted as my tour guide to introduce the entire village to me. We asked and answered questions, talked and laughed. Although I was in an unfamiliar environment, I felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy. Even the sisters and aunties who cleaned the rooms greeted us with a smile, which was a super super plus. Secondly, the breakfast in the store is also very good, with a variety of choices. The meals made by the chef of Bula Lakeside are also worthy of praise. There are many special dishes. I had two meals at his house. I ordered sour soup fish, stir-fried beef, crispy pork, and spring water stewed chicken, which were really to my taste. I think next time I go there, I want to stay at their house and eat the food they cook. (What’s more, their big fat cat Pippi is really adorable and very cute.) The one-day and one-night journey was really fast, but it was a pity that the time was too short. I had the urge to not leave. The experience of living by the Bula Lake in terms of food, accommodation, and mood was really great. This was a real accommodation experience. I would like to put a perfect end to my special forces journey: the best scenery is in Zhaoxing, and the best destination is by the Bula Lake.

The breakfast beside the rice fields is not only beautiful to look at, but also very delicious. The noodles are better than those in restaurants outside. There are more types of food. They also provide freshly ground coffee for my life☕ The staff will communicate with the guests on the first day to confirm the order. The breakfast content for the second day was quite considerate. The hardware facilities are shown in the picture and need no introduction. I originally planned to stay one night in Dong Village, but because I really liked this B&B, I stayed another night! All needs during the stay can be responded to immediately and implemented quickly. When he finally left, the child left the tie-dyed bunny at the front desk. After the staff found it, he quickly arranged for it to be couriered. The price is also right, I highly recommend it! !

Very clean and spacious room. We had 2 adults and 2 children and the room was so comfortable for all of us. Breakfast was amazing. Prepared lovingly by a local lady with guilin noodles, yoghurt and fruit. Service was excellent. Attended to our needs promptly without any delay. Location is amazing smacked right in the middle of the main busy street.

A beautiful place overlooking the rice fields of Zhaoxing! Love the atmosphere and vibes of the place. The view from the room is so gorgeous and the room interior has lovely homely decor as well. The breakfast was simple and hearty. But above all, the owner and staff running the place were really kind and hospitable. The owner contacted me prior to my stay and showed me videos of the available rooms so I could choose which room I preferred. And knowing that I'm a lone girl travelling by myself and reaching the station at night, he kindly borrowed a car to drive me from the station to the hotel so that I wouldn't be left to my own devices in the dark and waived the transport fee for me too. I fully feel that I am a ”traveler” and I enjoy it very much. Since I was traveling alone, I originally booked a king-size bed room. The boss upgraded me to a king-size bed with stairs up and down as shown in the picture, provided that there was a room available. It was so comfortable! Needless to say, the scenery on the rooftop is a sight to behold! The environment of this B&B is very good. Of course, I have to give a good evaluation of the service. The owner specially provides pick-up and drop-off (I personally think that the owner provides this service sincerely from the heart). He also kindly reminded me that since the B&B is made of wood, there might be noise due to soundproofing, but the owner said to contact us at any time. Everyone cooperated with each other and was very harmonious (of course, there was no sound at all when I went home that night, I slept well, and woke up beautifully in the morning, hahaha). After the boss helped me check in, he also patiently explained the general guide to eating, drinking and having fun here. He mainly told me where to go, fearing that I would get lost. You don’t need to walk far. If you take the shuttle bus, you can tell the driver to take you to the intersection and walk 50 meters to get there. The two front desk staff are super nice. Seeing that I am bringing my parents, they upgraded me to a larger room. There are rattan chairs on the balcony, which are very comfortable to sit on. The little brother helped me move the luggage and introduced the whole village tour guide. It rained when I left, and the little sister lent us an umbrella to take us to the bus stop. I booked a mountain view room, which is very cost-effective. The view room will be more expensive. The little brother took us in for a tour. The balcony scenery is really great and can overlook the entire village. It is even more beautiful at night. I quickly took the camera to take pictures and record what is in front of me. The room is cleaned very cleanly. The lobby on the first floor is for tea sets. It is also very pleasant to make tea, read books and watch the scenery here. Recommended!
