"Traveling with family, the guesthouse is located not far from the main gate of the village, which is also the starting point for exploring the village. It's especially beautiful at night when the lights are on. Outside the village gate is a square, and you can even watch performances from the guesthouse upstairs, perfect if you want to avoid the crowds. There's a small river in front, and the flowers in the courtyard are exceptionally vibrant. The owner also has an adorable 8-month-old dog. The room itself is clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly kind, offering tips on what to do and recommending great food. We had a wonderful trip overall."

"This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the village, offering amazing views from both the common areas and the rooms. The breakfast and afternoon tea were incredibly generous and delicious. I also really appreciated the attention to detail with things like high-quality tissues, slippers, and even the toilet. The five-star butler service was outstanding – even better than what I usually experience at five-star hotels. I stayed at another place nearby on my first night, which was similarly priced, but the facilities, service, and food quality were significantly inferior. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting the village!"

"This guesthouse is stunning and amazing at the same time. I work in the tourism field and I have never seen such an amazing and accurated caring for guests. The host and his wife are the nicest persons ever met in my life. Knowledgable in everything, excellent professional hosts who know how to make your trip an amazing and successful trip. Rooms are clean, spacious, with all the amenities a guest needs with a really good sense for the design. At the ground floor they have such a nice space for all guests where people can relax themselves by reading, drinking a good cup of local tea or coffe and simply facing the mesmerising view of the Dong Village and experiencing an indoor campfire. We had a wonderful night around the fire with some new Chinese friends and the host too. We sang all together and there was no language barrier which could stop us. We had such a wonderful moment. One of the best in my life. Breakfast is speechless. Something extremely good with lots of varieties of food. They know how to accomodate every single request. This place is a AAAAA place. Thanks for all the beautiful memories you gave us."

They also picked me up and dropped me off at the train station which would have been quite difficult to navigate in a small city and requiring to buy tickets to the village entrance. Best of all there was an English speaking host who helped me plan my day and trip to TangAn village which can be accessed by a nearby bus"

"This stay was truly satisfying! First and foremost, the room was spotlessly clean and tidy, leaving us feeling incredibly comfortable. The bedding was fresh, and the facilities were well-maintained, making it a truly reassuring experience. The host couple was incredibly warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, I felt genuinely cared for and attentive throughout the entire experience, making communication smooth and enjoyable. Most commendable was their thoughtful service: not only did they proactively provide pick-up and drop-off from the high-speed rail station (which was spot-on, saving us the hassle of lugging our luggage around and trying to find a car), they also enthusiastically and responsibly arranged round-trip transportation to scenic spots. Their meticulous itinerary planning made our trip a breeze. The surroundings are beautiful and convenient. Local restaurants are just a short walk away, ensuring dining options are a breeze. From the ground up to the amenities, this place has been exceptionally well-designed. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and a personal touch. It's an absolute steal!"

"The location of the homestay is excellent, in the upper section of the ancient city of Dongzhai, it is convenient to enter and exit, and there are many restaurants and snack bars around. Due to the regulations, the car 🚗 cannot drive into Dongzhai. We communicated with the boss in advance. After arriving, the boss personally drove 🚗 to pick us up (also left). The boss has a good service attitude, easy to communicate, and took the initiative to upgrade our room. The room has a good view, you can see some attractions in Dongzhai, the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the quality of the bath and shampoo products is good, the bath water is large, and disposable towels and toilet pads are also provided. "The room was spacious and clean, with a window offering a view outside and a place to dry clothes. The owners were very kind; the landlady helped us with our luggage and gave us detailed directions on good restaurants, directions to the village, and show times. The room was large and clean, and they provided many amenities not found in other hotels, such as mosquito repellent and disposable face towels. There was also free fruit downstairs, including plums, which was quite delicious. The owners even let us try their wines—a variety to sample. The owners were incredibly kind, providing transportation to and from the hotel and even taking us to the high-speed rail station. Their prices were very reasonable; after comparing several hotels, this was the best. You can also have a barbecue at the owners' place; they cooked some dishes and we ate and drank together. The landlady's grilled chicken wings were delicious and fragrant, even better than barbecue in Shenzhen. The bed was very comfortable and soft. I highly recommend this mountain view room; it's excellent."
