The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an absolutely stunning panorama, allowing you to enjoy the Dong village's mountain and river scenery right from your bed. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout my stay, providing thoughtful and thorough service. They patiently offered local tips for getting around and exploring. Breakfast truly exceeded expectations, balancing local specialties with Western tastes. The authentic noodles and Dong family oil tea created a wonderful ambiance, while the coffee, bread, and pastries were all high quality – I left feeling completely satisfied. My favorite surprise was the complimentary afternoon tea. The pastries and drinks were thoughtfully prepared, with flavors completely on par with popular cafes. Sitting on the viewing terrace, sipping tea and enjoying the scenery was so relaxing and restorative. My entire stay was comfortable and healing; I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to the Dong village!"

Plus, it was the only guesthouse we stayed at during our trip to Guizhou that had a washing machine and laundry detergent in the rooms – so convenient!"

"I have been to Zhaoxing several times, and I have lived in a different hotel every time. The experience of this hotel is the best. The room is very warm, the decoration is very new, the bedding is particularly comfortable, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and the body is very relaxed after sleeping. The landscape effect is also good, you can see the tile roof and drum tower of Dongzhai from the window, which is very beautiful. The baby's favorite is the bubble pool. He said that he will stay here next time, because there is a projector to watch cartoons, the bubble pool bath is first-class, hahaha. The service is also in place. We have already waited at the entrance of the high-speed rail station and received the room directly. When we arrived, it was the afternoon, and the boss also provided afternoon tea. Breakfast is not bad. When I had breakfast, I found that there was a terrace outside the hall. The boss said that he could pay for barbecue and dinner here. This is very good. I am going to ask a few friends to experience it next time."

"GREAT VIEW AND POSITION, NOT CLEAN, VERY HUMID When I booked, I saw the great images from Trip, and the overall reviews, so I was convinced. When we arrived, we right away saw the horrible conditions of the room carpet, after the smell of humid and dust all over the hotel. The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and after lots of complaining they brought the sifu to fix. The staff tried to help, but the conditions were very bad. We decided to stay after a small compensation as it was too difficult to find another accommodation this weekend. Overall beware of the bad cleaning conditions."

"The hotel is nestled within the ancient village, and the bustling commercial street is about 50 meters to the left of the hotel. The hotel facilities are new (rustic and beautiful), and the breakfast is quite good, including delicious Dong ethnic rice noodles. We had just booked a room through Ctrip when the hotel staff proactively called to inform us about entering the Dong village and parking arrangements (parking is free in the Dong village parking lot). They even arranged for a van to pick us up at the village entrance and take us to the hotel. When we left, the hotel also arranged for a car to take our luggage to the village gate. The Dong village is incredibly beautiful, and our stay and visit were excellent! We would love to bring our family here again. Thank you to the hotel staff for their warm service!"

"The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!"

"This place is perfect for families with kids! The beds are huge, much bigger than typical hotel beds, and there's plenty of space. It's clean, safe, and all the basic necessities are provided. The area is quiet, so we got great rest. The owner is incredibly patient and friendly, offering detailed tips for sightseeing and local dining. They even arranged airport pickup when we contacted them in advance. Our family felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. Highly recommend for family trips!"

"Our room was spectacular. We were offered an upgrade for another room, but we liked so much the one we booked we decided to stay at it. The hotel staff is very friendly and the free pickup and drop off from the train station made it very easy to get there. One of the highlights goes to our breakfast, that was delicious, specially the noodles. I would definitely stay at the hotel again in a future trip to the village."

Service: The service was very thoughtful. The B&B manager picked us up at the entrance to the scenic area and helped with our luggage. The only downside was that breakfast was a bit simple."

"The guesthouse was very clean and tidy, and the owner and housekeeper were incredibly welcoming and helpful – we were very satisfied! It was conveniently located, very close to the main street, with a great location. Just across a bridge, we could visit the Dong village museum. Thanks to their route planning, we saved a lot of time. They contacted us in advance and provided a guide explaining what to eat, drink, and do in the Dong village – their service was excellent! The chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and we ate lunch and dinner at the guesthouse. The chef's cooking was fantastic, which was a pleasant surprise. With such service and facilities, I would definitely recommend it!"
