Our butler, Liuliu, attended to us meticulously. She seemed a bit shy but knew everything there was to know about the mountains. Due to a personal health issue, I had to bother her daily, and I'm very grateful for her care over these two days. The breakfast offered a healthy and delicious mix of coarse grains, combining Chinese and Western styles. For dinner, you absolutely must try Auntie's cooking; it's genuinely authentic home-style food. I have two small suggestions: for lunch, it would be great to add some local Jiangshan specialties, like baked pancakes, rice cakes, or stir-fried noodles. Also, some of the fabric covers on the lounge chairs in the common areas are a bit damaged and stained; perhaps they could be regularly replaced or cleaned. The mountain scenery is absolutely stunning. Every day, after a good meal, I'd wander around, taking in the moon in the early morning and the dappled sunlight in the afternoon, the vast terraced fields, and the silhouettes of distant mountains. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the ancient town, with a restaurant across the street. The room was a little damp, and the walls of Xianyang's room on the second floor were a little dirty; they could use some freshening. Otherwise, I was very satisfied 🙂
