Before I came to the store, I was still very bottomless because it was the off-season of lavender, but the actual scene was completely different and the housekeepers from the reservation to the stay were also very responsible for telling me the local weather and climate and the environment in the store was more than expected. A truly unexpected find. Located near Huanghuang Village, nestled in a small village, we initially wondered if we'd made a mistake. But its location in a local village made it all the more precious. We were greeted by a German Shepherd, which looked intimidating but had zero fighting spirit. There was also a sweet little black cat that would softly snuggle on your lap and sleep soundly. It would give up struggling in front of humans, believing they wouldn't hurt it, allowing you to kiss, hug, and lift it high. It was winter, and the courtyard was rather desolate. But I could imagine how different it would be in summer. Behind it were fields. You could see the stars with the naked eye here. Time moves slowly in Xinjiang. When we went out at 10 am, the owner said, ”You're up so early!” This made me, who had been waiting patiently for days, almost tear up. So I understand why the owner opened a guesthouse here—to keep his passion alive. If you wanted something to eat, the owner had to drive out to buy it. So here, you learn to wait patiently. Here, you will understand the meaning of a guesthouse.

I booked this hotel after reading reviews, and I wasn't disappointed at all! #Location and Transportation: The address is right on the road from Yili to Sayram Lake. We dropped off our luggage there and went to Sayram Lake, which was super convenient. The pictures are of the view from the guesthouse; it's incredibly expansive! #Cleanliness: The room was newly renovated and very clean. The courtyard was also beautifully lit up at night. #Service: The owner was very nice. It was our first time driving in Northern Xinjiang, and we weren't familiar with the roads. The owner even helped us with our itinerary suggestions! We chattered about the attractions we wanted to visit, and the owner patiently gave us advice. Superb!

The courtyard boasts lavender planted by the owner, which is beautiful. It's a great spot for sisters who love to take photos, very photogenic! Service: The check-in was very welcoming, and the owner even offered to let us wash our car with the hose, haha. The owner's wife and staff were also very nice and made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast: Very exquisite, and the beef noodles were delicious! 👍 Lavender Souvenirs: Upon departure, the owner's wife and staff gave us lavender sachets as souvenirs, which smelled lovely in the car. I finally ate fresh green vegetables here for two days. The price is reasonable. The restaurant can see the scenery is beautiful. You can enjoy the whole mountain at 10 o'clock in the morning. It is the lobby that comes in and the lights are not turned on. The first impression is average. The front desk service is also average. I gave a room card and didn’t take the initiative to inform. The elevator smelled of smoke.

Although the price is not cheap in peak season, the stay is very comfortable. In front of the door is the beautiful scenery of Guozigou. There are restaurants and parking spaces, which can be done in one stop. The room is fully equipped, clean and tidy. It is very close to the south gate. If you drive from Urumqi to visit Sailimu Lake, it is recommended to enter through the east gate first and then go directly to the south gate to check in without turning back.

The guesthouse itself was also a pleasant surprise: located in Guozigou Pasture, less than an hour's drive from Sayram Lake, the courtyard was lush and green, the rooms were clean and tidy, the facilities were new, and I had a very comfortable stay. The owner was also very welcoming, giving us many practical tips for traveling in the area upon check-in. This experience truly made me realize that the people and things encountered on a trip are more unforgettable than the scenery.
