"Facilities: The room wasn't big, and the bathroom was quite small too, but it offered great value for money.
Environment: It's located a bit further into Huanghuang Village, so it's very quiet. The courtyard is large and there's plenty of parking. Breakfast was a packed meal. Ma Shu's Big Plate Chicken, which is not far away, was really good.
Service: Very good. There were milk candy and watermelon available for self-service in the lobby.
Huanghuang Village is mainly lavender-themed. When we visited, the flowers hadn't bloomed yet, probably not until after June. It's a very quiet little village, and although it's become a bit commercialized, it's still charming and worth a stop."

"It is said to be the best hotel in Huocheng. It is convenient to buy things next to the good supermarket in your hometown and parking is convenient. The facilities are newer and the room can live, but the room does not have a chair. Either sit on the bed, or sit on the wall on a dirty shelf or stand. The health is average and the breakfast is very poor. Fortunately, I bought some food in the supermarket the day before! The service is also general, the front desk ignores it when checking out, if you can not go to Huocheng, you must not choose Huocheng next time!"

"This stay at Guangyue Century Hotel exceeded expectations! The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are clean and bright, and the facilities are very new. The room is spacious and the bedding is comfortable and sleeps well. The location is particularly convenient, and it is very close to the lavender scenic spot and Horgos Port. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, efficient, and it is very convenient to eat and shop downstairs. "Excellent! The location is superb, the service is fantastic, and the facilities are great. 🛏️ The room is comfortable: the first impression upon entering is its cleanliness, the bedding is incredibly soft—I fell asleep instantly! The soundproofing is excellent; I couldn't hear any outside noise. The bathroom has great water pressure, hot water comes on quickly, and the toiletries smell wonderful.
The price-performance ratio is truly excellent. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Huocheng!"

"If you're visiting Huanghuang Village, you absolutely must stay at Fangyuan Homestay. It was the first stop on our Ili road trip and a truly therapeutic place to unwind!
The location is fantastic; you can walk right out from the ground floor to large, free lavender fields. No need to battle crowds at tourist spots or deal with noise in the village. We effortlessly captured stunning photos of the flower sea and sunsets, both morning and evening. The guesthouse itself boasts a simple yet fresh French design, with a courtyard brimming with flowers and plants. You can smell the faint scent of lavender just by opening your window. The courtyard cafe has an incredible ambiance – sitting there, sipping coffee, and enjoying the evening breeze completely soothed away all the fatigue from our journey.
Our room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the hot water was consistent and plentiful. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep even after a long drive. The host was incredibly attentive, proactively recommending lesser-known spots and photo opportunities in Huanghuang Village, and even helped us plan our local itinerary. We could also go horseback riding, received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and were given homemade lavender sachets when we left – so many thoughtful and heartwarming details.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and serene. It's perfect for both couples and families. The next time we come to Ili for lavender, we'll definitely choose Fangyuan again!

"The owner, seeing we were a family, upgraded us to a tatami room. The room was spacious, and the kids loved it.
The best home-cooked meal we had, haha, we were too full of meat!
The only downside was that we ordered too late, so the chef was forced to work overtime to prepare breakfast. Breakfast was also very comforting and warming. The owner even gave us face masks. Overall, it was a pretty good place to stay near Sayram Lake. After leaving Sayram Lake, we saw the Guozigou Bridge, and it was conveniently located on the way back."

The owner's garden is well maintained, the flowers bloom in competition, the fruit is pressed, I love life and I am very enthusiastic. Warm place & people, short habitat for tired journey, thank you!

Very few comments, but it deserves a big praise!
1. Environment: The small courtyard is very atmospheric, and the photos are very beautiful: the room is very clean and tidy.
2. Service: Very good! The boss is very enthusiastic. As a foreigner who wants to taste local fruits, the boss directly cut me half of the watermelon. The small courtyard is also very suitable for ordering takeaways and sitting in the yard chatting and drinking.

Guest UserLocation: Situated in a popular area of Huanghuang Village, with convenient parking right at the guesthouse entrance. The rooms are spacious and new. The courtyard boasts lavender planted by the owner, which is beautiful. It's a great spot for sisters who love to take photos, very photogenic!
Service: The check-in was very welcoming, and the owner even offered to let us wash our car with the hose, haha. The owner's wife and staff were also very nice and made our stay very comfortable.
Breakfast: Very exquisite, and the beef noodles were delicious! 👍
Lavender Souvenirs: Upon departure, the owner's wife and staff gave us lavender sachets as souvenirs, which smelled lovely in the car. The homemade essential oil was also unique.

Staying at this hotel is very convenient when visiting Sayram Lake. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs, offering everything from barbecue to snacks, making dining and shopping incredibly easy and convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy overall, with complete facilities. It's a standard, comfortable accommodation—not particularly amazing, but comfortable and worry-free. It offers good value for money and is a suitable choice for a self-driving tour of Huocheng.

But the hotel security uncle gave people a bad experience. When we checked in, the parking space in front of the hotel was full of things. I asked the hotel front desk, and he said I could park. When I backed over, the security uncle told me that it’s better not to park there, because there will be tourist buses parked there, it will be difficult for us to get out, so we parked a little bit further away, but when we went out the next morning, we found that there were no tourist buses at all. Guest UserI was driving to Sayram Lake when something incredibly touching happened to me! I stayed one night at this guesthouse, initially drawn by its proximity to the lake, and quickly checked out the next morning.
After checking out, I was in a rush to get to my next destination, and that afternoon I realized my gold pendant, worth over 50,000 yuan, was missing. I panicked and contacted the guesthouse owner on a whim. To my astonishment, he found it in my room immediately! I was overjoyed to have it back! I tried to give him a red envelope as a token of my gratitude, but he refused!
Knowing I was already on my way back, he even drove to town to send it back via SF Express, patiently comforting me throughout, worried I was anxious. With gold prices so high these days, such honesty is truly rare!
The guesthouse itself was also a pleasant surprise: located in Guozigou Pasture, less than an hour's drive from Sayram Lake, the courtyard was lush and green, the rooms were clean and tidy, the facilities were new, and I had a very comfortable stay. The owner was also very welcoming, giving us many practical tips for traveling in the area upon check-in.
This experience truly made me realize that the people and things encountered on a trip are more unforgettable than the scenery. I sincerely recommend this guesthouse to every friend visiting Guozigou!! The owner's character deserves to be seen by more people!!
