"We would have loved to review our experience at the Goldene Rose, where we had booked three accessible rooms for guests with disabilities from July 12th to 19th. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that the hotel is NOT accessible at all! The main entrance has a staircase (we had been warned about this), and the back entrance is impossible to use without assistance (with difficulty!) for each wheelchair (steep ramp, heavy exit door, and a high step onto a narrow sidewalk). This makes it very impractical for anyone trying to get around independently! We asked for an alternative, and fortunately, the woman took action and found one in a 4-star hotel in Valdaora di Sopra, at the same price, refunding our entire deposit. Will this experience help us avoid further inconveniences for residents with their rights and related needs?"

"We had a wonderful one-week family stay at this hotel. The food was delicious, varied, and beautifully prepared every day. Our room was modern, spotless, and featured a lovely terrace. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location was perfect for exploring many of the Dolomites' most famous attractions. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!"

"We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. In general, the hotel (family-led) is managed excellently: - the reception staff is nice, available and try to meet all the demands; - the spa is comfortable and provided; - the room is spacious and in order. The only point is on the management of breakfast/ dinner room: very nice staff, but unclear in explaining any additional costs (e.g. water in carpets/flacons and/or additional breakfast requests). For the rest, a pleasant stay and in a nervous area of Val Pusteria. I recommend to everyone!"

"We stayed at this hotel for a week and were pleasantly surprised by the high level of professionalism, kindness, and friendliness. Mrs. Herta is a very sweet and always available woman, her sons Stefano and Michele are always attentive to the guests' needs, and her husband Giorgio, the restaurant chef, prepares excellent dishes and serves them with great care. All the staff, both in the dining room and in the housekeeping, are impeccable. The hotel enjoys a beautiful view, and the station is very close, making it very convenient for visiting nearby towns. If we had a wonderful holiday, it is above all thanks to this wonderful family who welcomed us so warmly. "Obviously the photos are outstanding but you can’t fully appreciate the atmosphere - the views, the music, the natural scent of lemongrass and pine, amenities, comfort, hospitality of the owners, underfloor heated bathrooms, modern lift, easy parking, and breakfast which comes served like high tea!"

"It has a good location with free parking. The hotel is family-run, reflecting the owner's passion and dedication to providing the best possible service, despite the language barrier (they don't speak English). The place has a more older style, with older rooms, decor, and bathroom fixtures. Our room had a small terrace overlooking the church. There's no elevator to the upper floors. We found the breakfast price high, so we didn't order it (€15). If you're in a room facing the church, which rings its bells every 15 minutes, even at night, I suggest not opening the windows at night because the double-glazed windows do a good job of blocking out the noise, but not completely. There's no refrigerator or air conditioning. There's a sauna and a pool, but we didn't use them. The restaurant is family-run, but we found it a bit expensive (€32 for a pizza), with a noticeably shorter English menu and fewer options than in other languages. It's a good location for visiting Lake Braies."

"We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for more. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine, and Andreas made us feel right at home straight away. A special mention to Liv and Abid, who were simply brilliant throughout our stay. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade, which was a real highlight for us and very much appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept, the breakfast was great, and while dinner follows a set menu, it was more than satisfying. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!"
