📍 Ichibancho, 17−1 ミトワみしま 1F, Mishima

"Great soundproofing. The service was excellent; all the staff I encountered were welcoming and didn't show any discrimination towards Chinese people. There's a hot spring bath, and you can even see Mount Fuji from there. It's very close to Numazu Lake, so I got to see the fireworks festival."

📍 4-6 Chuocho, Mishima

"One night’s stay in this hotel smacked right in a food street! There were so many restaurants just around the hotel but my stomach is only so big. There’s direct bus to Mishima Skywalk. Friendly hotel staff who showed me the direction to the bus stop."

Dormy Inn Mishima

Dormy Inn Mishima ★★★

📍 3 Chome-18-33 Omiyacho, Mishima

"I had a very pleasant stay at Dormy Inn Mishima. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Mishima Station, making it very convenient for both sightseeing and catching the Shinkansen. The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but it was spotless, well designed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the top-floor public bath, where I could relax while enjoying a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji on a clear morning. The complimentary late-night ramen was also a nice touch after a long day of traveling. The staff were polite, efficient, and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast offered a good variety of Japanese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. Overall, this hotel provides excellent value for money with its clean facilities, thoughtful amenities, and convenient location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Mishima and would happily recommend it to other travelers."

"The location is superb, right outside Mishima Station's South Exit. The lobby is on the second floor. The hotel's public bath (onsen) has both indoor and outdoor sections. The rooms are spacious and very new, facing the Mount Fuji area, so you can enjoy the view during breakfast. It's incredibly convenient from here to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival, and there's a bus right outside that goes directly to Gotemba Premium Outlets."

"I booked the hotel at 10pm due to an emergency and fell asleep immediately. I consider myself the type of guest who is most reluctant to cause trouble to the business. After checking out at the front desk in the morning, I wanted to have a cup of coffee at the drink-bar next to the front desk (this was also my first attempt to use the drink-bar service of the hotel), but the hotel clerk righteously stopped me and informed me that customers who have checked out cannot use any services. At the moment, I was surprised and embarrassed. There were people coming and going in the lobby. Everyone who checked out before me had a cup of coffee. Even when the clerk stopped me, there were white people drinking coffee next to me. Is it because they are white and speak English, while I have an Asian face and speak Japanese? I asked the clerk: Have you always been so strict? For all customers? The clerk hesitated and replied: "Basically." In addition to the discrimination problem, the hotel's rooms are very narrow and the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear the snoring in the next room. In addition, there is a huge renovation noise starting around 8 am. At least I will never come again, and I will also advise my friends to stay away."

"The hotel has a good location with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel has a large public bath, which is very comfortable after a soak. The rooms are a bit small but clean and tidy. It's a bit cramped for two people, but it's perfect for one person."
