The breakfast was supposed to be at 9:30, but when I arrived at 9:00, the staff loudly announced they were closing up shop. They started clearing away many plates, completely disregarding the guests still seated. This was the first time I'd encountered such service."

"The hotel front desk and porter service were very good, and they patiently assisted me in picking up 20 express parcels. The hotel is located at the same location as Shangyang Station on Metro Line 2, allowing direct access between the hotel and the subway station. The garden outside the hotel is quaint and the environment is very beautiful. Although tea making facilities are provided in the room, only ordinary tea bags are provided. The house even forgot to provide tea bags, coffee and welcome fruits. I stayed for five nights from January 30 to February 4, and what I was most dissatisfied with was: The hotel provided a RMB 100 voucher for Meiyuan Tea Restaurant. Although there was a note on the back of the voucher saying "Instant discount of RMB 100 for snacks over RMB 200", my wife and I went there specially before checking out to go to the airport on February 4. We tried our best to order food to make up the RMB 200, but when we checked out, the counter said it could not be used as a voucher. It turned out that snacks were mixed with various dishes on the menu, and the pot-side porridge we ordered was not considered a snack, so we were forced to order a lava bun, and the bill was 153. Because we had to catch the bus to the airport, we didn't have time to pick up the lava buns. We were not reminded of this when we ordered which was very unpleasant!"

There's plenty of disposable toiletries; if you need more, the staff will bring more promptly. You can leave your trash outside, and the staff will clean it up immediately. The room has great ventilation and natural light; I stayed in a loft upstairs. It was practically silent at night when I went to sleep. There's a clothesline by the window for hanging light clothes. The bedding is excellent, especially the mattress—it's just the right firmness, with support all around, and fits the body perfectly. I really want a mattress connector, hahaha! The courier shop is downstairs; turn left after exiting the main door; it's at the back. There's also a convenience store in the lobby on the first floor, and two more outside. It's very convenient for everyday shopping. The photos were taken when I left; the room was a bit messy, so I didn't take a full-view photo. In conclusion, I highly recommend staying here. The owner is very responsible, replies to messages quickly, and tries their best to meet reasonable requests."
