"We were looking for a nice place to treat ourselves and we were thrilled to find this place. It was an easy drive not too far off our route. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. The innkeeper was very welcoming and made us feel right at home, giving us a tour and sharing stories about the history of the house. The location was near to some shops and restaurants we enjoyed. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal, and included maple syrup tapped from the trees outside, frittata made with eggs laid by the chickens out back and tomato and swiss chard picked from the gardens. We felt very spoiled! We even got to meet the chickens and goats who live on the property, and my husband got to hold a turkey! Overall it was a magical experience and we plan to go back next time we are passing through."

"it’s been a month since i stayed here and i still wake up in a cold sweat from the experience , it’s dismal, dated , torn, dirty , dreary and lacks every modern amenity you can think of- the so called ‘breakfast ‘ is a few dispensers of sugary cereal, a few pieces of white bread and absolutely miserable tasting coffee served w tiny cups that require 20 pumps of the broken down thermos that it’s served from, from the parking lot to the office, elevators and stairways this place is filthy-.. i was thrilled to leave and thrilled that there’s a convenience store across the parking lot- it’s hard to imagine that this dump will ever be cleaned up- this is a tear down property"
