Family-friendly Hotels in Miaoli

Always nice to be there, great experience as usual. Good breakfast and dinner spread, nice private or public Onsen amidst nature. Not a place for barrier free access though.

Staying at the Grand Park Hotel on Sunday, the cold wave hit and the temperature dropped a lot At 13:00, we checked in at the hotel to store our luggage and received the housing plan package! First go to the recreational center next door and play until 18:00 in the evening. For dinner, just choose the shopping mall next door to solve the problem~ This time I stayed in an executive room, which happened to be in the side room and the indoor space was very large. Very clean and no smell The bed and pillows are very good~ The hotel location, transportation, and shopping are all very convenient. Only when you finish drinking the bottle of water provided in the room, you can no longer ask for it! You must bring a bottle container and go to the water dispenser on another floor to fill it.

Hotel is situated 40mins car ride away from Miaoli train station. We managed to get a taxi ride service (NT1100 per ride) from the hotel to fetch us up to the hotel which otherwise would be tough to get there. There's no convenience store nearby so do stock up on food/drinks before heading to the hotel if required. Room is huge with 2 double beds - able to fit our luggages. Our stay comes with private jacuzzi for 1hr and admission to the hotel hotspring which condition is quite old so not to expect much. Breakfast is inclusive and is decent local delight - menu is the same for both days' breakfast. Hotel staff was able to arrange for taxi service for us to bring us to attractions area which would be inconvenient to head to on our own without a car.

We arrived late at the resort, check-in was fast and smooth and the moment we enter the room we wished that we had more time at the resort. The resort had 3 areas for soaking in 温泉。Then open air( with swimming costumes) at a separate building just right of the main building- you can see it in the pictures. There’s also a naked spa ( separated by guys/women) at level 8. I much prefer the in room 温泉。 the soaking tubs were really clean and the toilets are huge. Breakfast was a good mixture of option. The hotel also give a piece of local brown sugar cake for the rooms as a door/welcome gift for the guest. If you do have extra time, do not miss the outdoor area at level 6. Prefect for hanging out at night with some beer accompanied with view!

The hot spring ♨️ is really great, smooth and tasteless! Although the public pool is not open now, the bath in the room is super big and very comfortable! The hotel is located in the innermost area and the terrain is very high! The landscape is very good! Looking into the distance is so beautiful! The night view of thousands of lights is also great! I like it very much👍The breakfast is also very good!

Big and spacious but hotel is quite old. Breakfast was not bad. Short walk to 7 eleven. For those who drive, it’s just a short drive to a lot of attractions e.g ginger garden, strawberry farms, Longteng bridge.

It happened to rain during check-in time, and something uncomfortable happened. 1. I drove to the door (it was raining heavily) and was told by the man at the door that the parking space was full and I had to park downstairs. I asked if I could unload my luggage first. He replied that there was no parking space and I said... put my luggage first. , then drove on and parked, he directly replied, ”Stop first!” There is no parking space. 2. After checking in, I need to go to the parking lot to pick up my luggage. I asked the management brother to take us down to pick up our luggage. The big brother said in a very embarrassed manner: Can you wait a moment? It's raining heavily now. (My whole body is wet. I need to go back to the room first. I can’t change my clothes.) I said with emotion: My whole body is wet now! ! ! ! The eldest brother immediately said: OK, OK, I will take you down to collect your luggage. 3. After we brought the luggage up, I saw other cars getting off the car and unloading some luggage in the canopy next to the hotel entrance. I felt even more uncomfortable. I immediately gave my reaction to the management brother who helped carry the luggage, and he only said ”Excuse me”. -The check-in process was very uncomfortable. - Where to park is not the problem, the problem is heavy rain. We must have rainy weather contingency measures to reduce the number of times we get wet. -I am willing to understand the heavy rain and the hard work of the staff to mediate the scene, but the response and approach are unacceptable to me. Above, so the service only has 2 hearts.

Really will return to the accommodation! The boss is very good and talkative, because there is only a four-person single bed room type on the trip, but in fact, we want to book a double bed, talk to the boss to know our needs, temporarily help us change rooms, no price increase, really nice, breakfast is Chinese style is also quite delicious 😃

There are relatively few tourists on weekdays, and it is very comfortable to walk around. The vegetarian dinner is very filling, and comes with a hot pot. Other ingredients are all you can eat. The dishes are almost exactly the same as the ones in the photos on the Internet. The price per guest is 480 yuan. The garden is very beautiful, and it is now the time when autumn turns to winter. Although it is uphill, the temperature is very comfortable when walking. However, it is not recommended to bring elders who need wheelchairs or cannot walk for a long time, because there are uphill and downhill slopes almost everywhere.
