"The care shown by staff to achieve the highest level of service makes this hotel the luxury oasis which it is. To be welcomed with warm towels after a long journey and then a welcome glass of Prosecco before being shown to our room where our luggage had already arrived is the sort of thing that really makes a difference. From day one, we were recognised and known by staff, frequently being addressed by name. The presence of the friendly family owners ensures a high level of consistency in standards. The rooms and suites are beautifully maintained, serviced twice daily (the evening turn down being optional), fresh towels every time the room is serviced, fresh bedding every two days and clean bathrobes every four. All rooms have balconies but not all have great views (some face buildings) so be careful with room choice if this matters to you. The outdoor areas are stunning with plenty of options to relax in the garden, by the pool or on the roof terrace. The indoor/outdoor pool is excellent, as is the spa. Indoor relaxation areas around the pool and spa are also very good. Food is a real highlight from a very extensive breakfast buffet including a show kitchen for freshly cooked eggs. Food is prepared and replenished constantly with a chef slicing salmon and fruit as breakfast progresses. Coffee options are very good too. Dinner is different every evening with numerous courses, a daily salad buffet and occasional special buffets such as fish starters, cheese and desserts. The wine list is very extensive with a huge range from reasonably priced options to the much more expensive choices."

"EXCELLENT TO STAYCATION DURING SUMMER.. Hotel Juliane at Italy...the hotel is very soacious . Luxury . and have a great facilities and amenities..fabulous 2 swimming pool. Indoor and outdoor pools surprisingly with a lush garden all surrounding at the hotel.. sundeck chairs. Deck umbrella .stunning spot location the propert around the place..is very clean..free breakfast ..foods is very well delicious and presentable ..a large room is beautiful. Relaxing to stay so ckean ad a nice mountain view..the hotel juliane .has a quiet place. Family - friendly is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Meran and garden lake .to Veron. Or to Venice. The reception is super friendly and helpful, the advice regarding walks, bus transport, etc. is always correct. Breakfast: super tasty, extensive choice and an EXTREMELY good and pleasant service, it can't get any better."

Kuntino Suites

"What can I say? Our stay was simply wonderful. It started with the lovely email correspondence with Aurelie, who answered all our questions immediately and at any time. We stayed in the beautiful Maiolica Suite for four nights in February. Our little dog was also warmly welcomed. The suite is very tastefully furnished, with two bathrooms, one of which had a freestanding bathtub. Everything is super modern. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, body oil, etc., were all provided and of excellent quality. Bathrobes and slippers were also included. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The apartments are cleaned daily. On the ground floor is Kuntino's, where you can have a fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately, I was only able to enjoy it one day during our stay, as we arrived right in the middle of their winter break; otherwise, I would have definitely eaten there every day. The location is also superb, right on the arcaded street. And yet, it wasn't noisy, and we slept wonderfully. Aurelie was always available for us, had great tips for restaurants and bars, and was always up for a chat – a truly wonderful hostess! We will definitely come back!"

"A friend and I were traveling through the area and happened upon Villa Bavaria online. It seemed nice and affordable and we booked for three nights. We were so lucky to have found it. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was SO GOOD and affordable. I have Celiac disease and have to eat Gluten Free and they accommodated me above and beyond with baskets of gluten free snacks and bread each morning and a slightly modified menu at night. Breakfast was included and was a 5* buffet of fresh fruits, meats and cheese, amazing breads (for the non-Celiacs), cereals, yogurts, etc. Dinner, for 35 Euro was a five course menu and it was incredibly gourmet and beautiful. Honestly, for 35 Euro we didn't have super high expectations and we were blown away. The rooms were impeccable, large and some (mine!) air-conditioned. The views, stunning, the garden gorgeous and both pool areas were lovely. It felt like we were at a private Villa. The location is perfect as well. This hotel is a gem. I really can't say enough good about it. Made our trip!! We will be back!"
