"This is undoubtedly one of the two best hotels we have ever stayed in and we are now 72 years old. We came here to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and wanted somewhere special. It was certainly that and more!! It is impossible to find fault in anything. Finest cuisine (both in quality and range of choice), breakfasts to die for, exemplary service, welcoming and friendly staff who can’t do enough to help( nothing is too much trouble for them!) Excellent hotel location and masses to see and do in the vicinity - the use of the included Merano guest card is an absolute bonus for using public transport in the region. Can’t recommend highly enough and would love to return again in the future."

"We had the most fabulous time in the mountains of Merano. I had forgotten how wonderful the mountains are. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. The food was exceptional. The hotel was very low key comfortable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary whilst staying there and they really looked after us on the day. It would seem that the British have not found Merano which is a major plus. I think we did not hear English spoken by a tourist or see a UK registered car in all the time we were in Merano. Wonderful!"

"Four days worked miracles! I was really able to chill out at this wonderful hotel that felt like home. Spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool in a beautifully-kept garden. Both the Golden Spa and the Reception team deserve a special mention: thank you to Antije and Lorena for their expertise and to the two Saras and the Fuflers' daughter for their kindness and insight! As for food, excellent breakfast and interesting dinner menu. I'll be' Jack forca visit, stay assured!"

"Comfortable stay. Beautiful old villa. Large room with private bathroom and balcony overlooking the river. Good breakfast. On site parking. Downside: wifi can be challenging, house needs some TLC (updates and repairs) . No A/C but we were here in October. Days were hot but room stayed cool. Might not be the case in July. Owner / manager was nice. Different sense of humor. Note: yes, they keep your passport overnight. Welcome to Italy."

"A lovely hotel, very welcoming staff and quality foods. We specially liked the wellness area because of the quietness, no noisy children. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small and the area is exposed to busy road. Parking lots are fine for small car, with bigger cars you have a challenge. Overall we liked our stay and will come again."

"The hotel's surroundings are fantastic! 👍 The host is incredibly welcoming and provides excellent service; my family and I loved her. The hotel is a guesthouse with a fully equipped kitchen, so you can try your hand at cooking! Merano has a pleasant, cool climate. When I arrived at the hotel, it happened to be during one of the hottest days in Italy, and even in the comfortable town, the afternoon temperature was a bit high. The host even provided us with a fan, which was a big plus! 👍 A vacation in Merano is like a random surprise, but I was pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful time! 🥳 A truly worthwhile trip!"
