"We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It is a large property with all the perks of a big resort—like an aquapark, multiple pools, and great entertainment—yet it still manages to feel cozy and intimate. Even with full occupancy, the hotel was quiet (!), and there was absolutely no "sunbed war."What we loved:The aquapark: Very fun and attractive.The architecture: Low-rise, guest-friendly buildings. The tiled roofs, green shutters, and matching curtains create a wonderful, charming atmosphere.The downsides:The bathroom: It is definitely in need of refreshment.The food: Typical, average all-inclusive buffet.Overall, our stay was a big plus. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful hotel, stunning pool and very clean. The pool bar has a lovely member of staff think her name was Alejandra (apologies if incorrect spelling) Was my birthday whilst I was there and the hotel brought me cava to my room, this was a nice touch. Evening entertainment was good but I think finished too early (just after 10pm) we ended up sitting on balcony listening to another hotels music which went on much later. Food was good, plenty of choice. Santa Thomas is a quiet resort but has nice coastal walk and a lovely beach."

"Love your setting, beautiful rooms. Bar and service in the bar need working on. Some staff,not all take far to long,many times had to go and search for someone to serve. Then we had to stand queueing because of build up of guess. Restaurant, 9 times out of 10 food not hot enough,many times just left it. Staff in restaurant work really hard. Last time we stayed here, many years ago,when it was a proper Restaurant up stairs food was excellent.Grounds and pools are excellent,kept beautiful.Staff do your hotel credit.Just work on the bar."

"I stayed here with my daughter and granddaughter for a week from 28th. The pool area was in a horrendous condition. See pictures. Litter, feces and dirt all around the pool area. We complained to the hotel however they were very rude, made out we were lying. They finally cleaned the pool on our last day after several other familes complained."

"Elegant hotel that is centrally located in Ciutadella. We loved this hotel and the only downside was the limited sun loungers with some guests leaving their towels down and then leaving for hours. "Very decent and lovely 3star hotel (could pass as 4star as well). We stayed one night while in town for the evening market. The pool is bigger that the pictures, and very nice. There are showers at each end of the pool, but bigger signs reminding people to shower before pool would be nice. The rooms were nice and clean, and we slept amazing well. Not the biggest breakfast, but it is a small town so easy to find a bakery and stock up. Parking was just nearby, and the small town in itself is really lovely and nice."

"Positives -Pool areas - lots of sun beds with shade. Large main pool and a toddler area with slides. All kept very clean and tidy. -The beach is lovely, perfect for families. The water is very shallow and clear and only a short walk from the hotel. -Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. -Very family focused - small sink in bathrooms, kids section of the buffet, mascot/characters, kids club, pony rides. Out 3 year old was very happy here. -Good service all round. The staff work very hard and were polite and helpful. Negatives -With it being a family resort, the 2 buffet restaurants were very loud and at times overwhelming. -The food was just ok. We were expecting it to be much better based on the reviews. -There were lots of flies in La Basilica restaurant which was pretty off-putting. -Lots of noise until around 10.15pm from the stage. It didn't bother us, but I can imagine it might bother some people. If so, request a room away from the reception area. Tips -A tea towel, washing up liquid, washing up sponge, hand soap, shampoo and body wash are all provided, so no need to pack your own if you need that extra bit of space. -There are sunbeds to hire on the beach but they're expensive. We paid £25 for 2 beds and a parasol. Buy a beach parasol for around 15 euro if you plan on visiting the beach a lot, it'll save you a lot of money. Check if any have been left by previous holiday makers before you go and buy one. They have baskets with things like pool floats, buckets and spades and parasols to reuse."

"First impressions were excellent; beautiful gardens and pool area, total tranquillity, friendly receptionist, welcome drink on the terrace. However on being shown to the room we were hugely disappointed. Although large and spacious it seemed damp and was cold (even though it was 25° outside). We had to ask for a heater! The furniture on the terrace (which overlooked a few olive trees and what I can only describe as a pile of rubble) was old and damp, you certainly wouldn’t want to sit on it with or without a pretty view. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after an aperitif in the garden. A nice touch would be to put candles on the tables in the garden. Once in the restaurant we were absolutely ignored for a while until someone finally came to show us to our table. The service started out being good but then became sporadic. Finesse was certainly lacking in a restaurant of this standard. We were left to pour our own wine, the food was not of a quality one would expect of an establishment at this level, there were no finger bowls to cleanse hands after de-shelling prawns, coffee was not offered and by the end we felt somewhat cheated. On the whole a rather disappointing stay. "

"Fantastic stay really enjoyed our holiday it's our last day tomorrow and the kids are really upset to be leaving which is always a good sign that they enjoyed it as much as we did. Rooms in the Prestige were spacious with air condinitions and ceiling fans that were extremely welcome after a hot day in the sun. The maids always very friendly and left the room spotlessly clean. If i had to point out a slight negative it would be the entertainment area was very warm due to them leaving the windows and doors open so the air conditioning was pretty much non existent highly recommend bringing handheld fans to take the edge off. Stand out for me was the staff who were all fantastic so friendly and couldnt do enough for the guests special mention to Francis who made our stay extra special. We will definitely be returning and would recommend the Prestige to friends and family."

"The room is not big, but the sea view is beautiful! The red-haired lady at the check-in front desk was very patient and nice, and explained every matter in detail! It gave us a very good impression when we first arrived at the hotel! Including booking a boat trip and a taxi to the airport, the entire front desk team was very active and professional! I especially want to emphasize the praise of the beautiful Manuela who is the receptionist at the cape nao restaurant on the ground floor. She is so nice, very enthusiastic and energetic! She helped us find a good dining seat, and asked us if the meal was cold and if we needed a shawl! She knew that girls like to take pictures, and she also helped us reserve a sea view table for dinner the next day! I was really touched! My whole heart was healed!"

"I had a lovely stay at Menorca Experimental. The property is beautiful and interiors are impeccable throughout. Swimming pool is lovely. Dinner menu is good and the vibe on the outdoor terrace area is great. Lunch menu is limited and nothing special. I have no complaints about my stay overall as I enjoyed it - staff were sufficiently friendly, but I wouldn't say the service here blows your mind nor do they go out of their way to make you feel warmly welcomed. It was my 30th birthday celebration on the weekend I stayed here and none of the staff noticed (despite my sister, who made the booking, telling them in advance). Location of hotel is in the middle of nowhere and if you aren't driving yourself/renting a car, you will have to rely on expensive taxis to get around the island otherwise there is nothing to really do in the vicinity of the hotel."

"We had enjoyed lunch here last year and wanted to repeat the experience with a day by the pool. For €150 you get full use of the pool and loungers and lunch included. It’s not cheap but what you get is the peace and quiet, quality wooden sunbeds, huge parasols, towels and waiter service should you require anything. The pool is huge and it felt like a privilege to be in such tranquil surroundings. Lunch - this was not clearly explained so we had to ask. You choose 4 dishes and anything extra you pay extra for. Quality food, we really enjoyed it. Portions were generous and my other half had to polish off mine."

"First of all, the place is beautiful and the setting is magical, with lovely and cozy rooms. The problem arose when I indicated in the booking that I couldn't eat gluten, and upon arrival, there were no gluten-free options available at either dinner or breakfast. When I complained at reception, they said they hadn't noticed and were very sorry, but they still didn't bring me bread or any other gluten-free products. So, I couldn't enjoy either dinner or breakfast as one would expect from a hotel of this category and price."

"The hotel is completely revamped and is a beautiful hotel. We upgraded to a sea view but I did not find the chairs on the balcony comfortable to relax. I also found the room a little small. Best nights sleep bed wonderful. Wonderful location, amazing swimming and lovely service. Do think worth getting a car. Food is good but needs more variety. Best club sandwich ever had ! Really relaxing and they want to give the best experience"

"Located somewhat out of the center, but with good views of the harbor. The room was very, very small, with barely any room to walk between the bed and the table or the window. I had to get dressed in the hallway. The price of the room is no excuse for meeting minimum room standards. The spa was small, but enough to relax for a while. The breakfasts were phenomenal. Variety and quality. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely stay again, but in a different room."
