The location is great.
I think it's perfect for people studying abroad or on a working holiday to use as temporary housing until they find an apartment. It's noisy at night, so you'll need earplugs.

Staffs are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lounge area was vibrant even after midnight with some club music played by visitors, but community dorm room on the same floor had a great insulation that didn't allow any sound bothering my sleep come in. Such a great deal for solo travel.

There is currently no hot water on the second floor. It is recommended to inform the front desk before checking in. It is winter in Melbourne. After taking a shower, I went to the front desk to report it to the staff. The staff very politely told me that hot water is currently only available on the first floor. I am very grateful to him! But it is too late!!
It is recommended to directly post a notice that there is no hot water on the second floor...
