"Great hotel in an old monastery church. My charming room was great, especially the stained-glass windows. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is small but nice. There are no other hotel facilities besides a small bar. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the sanctuary is only used for breakfast. The breakfast is of high quality, although the selection could be a bit larger. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if I ever travel to Mechelen again."

"The room was very simple, the bathroom was cold, there is no heating. The hotel was full of construction workers occupying the breakfast room from 6:30 in dirty clothes and basically there was almost no choice for breakfast from 6:30. The hotel was more like a worker's dormitory. Since the reception is partially digitized, the receptionist is not available overnight or early in the morning, it was not possible to ask for a taxi, providing an advice, etc. So, for me and my colleagues it was really bad experience. The only positive impression was left by the Christmas decorated Mechelen."

"The hotel was somewhat dated but otherwise fine – especially for the price. Unfortunately, this also meant there were no conveniently positioned power outlets (not near the bed). The hotel had not received our request for two separate beds, and as a result, we were initially given a very cozy room with a double bed. Fortunately, this was easily exchanged for a nice, spacious room with twin beds."
