Aerotel Sydney - Inside International Terminal Airport Reviews

The room was quaint, but everything about this hotel was decent. The bathroom was big enough, very clean, and has top-of-the-line sundries. It was very conveniently located just below the departures hall. Because of its size, there’s really not much to expect, but the cleanliness and service are superb. I did have one concerning experience when my room suddenly was filled with the smell of suffocating engine fumes, and I was woken up in the middle of the night. I have written a letter about it; I am waiting for the hotel’s response.

Good choice for in transit early morning flight. This Aerotel very convenient location at T1 Sydney International Airport, no need to use Australia Visa if only at this hotel.

Booked a double room but their staff changed it to single room without my permission. On reaching the hotel at 11pm with 2 kids and luggage the manager tells me to find an another hotel due to the error made by them.He then gave me a single room with leaking roof. The water was dripping from the ceiling.Horrible experience.

We will not stay at Aerotel Sydney again. The small double bed is up against a wall so if one person wants to get out during the night they have to climb over the other! The bed was very high and very awkward to get into. At 65 and 70 years old that is not what we were expecting nor wanting. There are no windows. We didn't get much sleep. We ended up 'topping and tailing'. We were also disturbed by a lot of noise from within the hotel. Whilst it is only a short walk to the departure area, that is not sufficient to outweigh the huge disadvantages of the room and setting. There was insufficient room for our 6 suitcases so they had to be stored behind reception. Luckily the reception is manned 24 hours a day.

Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Only stayed here for the convenience of being able to walk straight into the airport, so only stay if that is important

It is rediculous that my room access card cannot be used the next morning at 3am. And I cannot find any service even call for help.

The room is a bit small, but I had to make do with it because I was afraid of catching a flight too early.

The room is as depressing and small as a prison cell. There are no windows. There is no workbench. The air conditioner cannot be adjusted (the hotel centrally adjusts it). The soundproofing is so poor that you can hear every sound of the door opening. I didn't sleep at all because of this all night. Not recommended at all. The price is also almost a thousand. If I knew it was so bad, I would definitely spend more money to stay at the nearby Rydges, or a hotel near the domestic terminal.
