"This is a good hotel for an overnight stay near the airport. The location is very convenient. It's a pleasant 15-minute walk from the airport. It's very handy to be able to calculate your arrival time at the airport down to the minute, as you don't need to use public transport. The hotel itself is clean, with nice fresh bed linen, and shower gel and shampoo are provided. The staff are polite. IKEA is not far away (30 minutes by public transport). This is very convenient if you don't want to go into the city but fancy spending the latter half of the evening in a store, as it's open until 9 PM, and the IKEA restaurant until 8 PM. Overall, I liked everything. I recommend this hotel."

"My first stay with the property. Great stay and I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days in Mascot. 5m walk to Mascot town and public transport. plenty cafes, shops and post office. Spacious and clean room, comfy bed. Washing machine and dryer in the room is very useful for any traveller. There is a large fridge, microwave and oven if needed. All basic amenities like dental kit, shampoo, soap and laundry washing powder are complimentary. Property manager phone is available for after hours emergencies. Nothing is too much trouble for always friendly and courteous staff and the property manager Diana. Keep up the great efforts and providing real value for money service. Thank you for the memorable stay and sure to stay again. Please be gentle and kind with your feedback as the sector is going through the redemption process since the global pandemic. If you are arriving after 6pm please contact the property in advance to organise hassle free check in."

"The room facilities were great, and the location was absolutely perfect – just a 5-minute walk to international departures. The hotel front desk staff, however, were quite unfriendly; this might have been due to my English not being very fluent. This hotel is ideal for catching early morning flights. Sydney international departures are incredibly busy in the mornings; I woke up at 6 AM and already saw traffic building up. It took almost half an hour from leaving the hotel to checking in my luggage. After that, I only had enough time to quickly browse duty-free before boarding."

"Overall, we had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport and would happily stay here again. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a great way to start the day, and everything was well maintained. The location is excellent if you're using the domestic airport, with the terminals only about a 15-minute walk away. One thing to be aware of is if you're arriving at the international terminal. Although the hotel is only around 2.3 km away, taxis and Uber can charge more than AUD $30 for the short trip, which came as a surprise. It's worth planning your transfer in advance if you're flying into the international terminal. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient airport stopover in Sydney."
