"We stayed one night here. The hotel is far from the old city.. one cannot walk to the old city so one has to take a shuttle provided by the hotel.. and it is at a cost. Ideally, it should be provided free. The restaurant has a very basic menu, with hardly any choice for vegan/ vegetarian guests. The rooms are neat and nice. "

"Awesome place. The rooms are spotless. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The garden is very well kept, with a beautiful clean swimming pool. The owner from day one was very welcoming, kind and helpful. He gave us a lot of information regarding the area to visit, he put us in contact with a car rental company. So if you arrive by plane I highly recommend renting a car to visit the various attractions. I went with my husband and my son, who at the end of the holiday was very sad to have to leave. I recommend you go and taste the dishes at the restaurant next door, the fish is fresh, they also make the pasta, the staff is very professional and competent. We will definitely return. "Family-run hotel, and that's already a plus. The room was cozy and well-equipped (wifi, air conditioning, private bathroom, balcony), and the breakfast was generous with a good selection. The cappuccino was truly special: I hadn't tasted such a foam in years. The staff was welcoming, empathetic, and always available to satisfy our every tourist request. They anticipated our requests for local restaurants (they also frequent, so that's a guarantee of the quality of the food we'd find), and offered suggestions on what to see, etc. Just like a tourist information office, this allowed us to discover and get to know Western Sicily better. We knew the people in Sicily are hospitable, but we hadn't expected this much. It's a shame we couldn't use the pool because it was out of season. We definitely recommend it.
