"It is a very interesting place to stay. I had a room with a seperate bathroom, which was fine as I was alone. The toilet was also seperate (and you get a toilet and also a toilet in your bathroom). So that is handy of you are with two people. Room was clean and large. What is truly nice about this place is just the history and all the services that they had. There are shuttle buses all over the park and even a shuttle bus from and to Manly. So that was great! Restaurant was lovely too.. personally I found it a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in Australia and they did not have the specials. But, the food was good, service was great and they had some live music. So overall I enjoyed it!"

"Stokes was lovely. The vibe was chill, location is right by the beach and the place was kept clean. The rooms were quite hot and the wifi upstairs didn’t work, but other than that no complaints! Would recommend. The lobby area is really pretty too so nice area to chill or work in."

Manly Paradise Motel & Apartments ★★★

"The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the pier, downstairs is the seaside, and it takes about Shelly beach 15-20 minutes to walk. Two two bedrooms with two small stairs, can cook, tableware is relatively complete, the exhaust fan of the double bathroom is a bit noisy, the carpet is not very clean, it is suitable for family travel for a few days ～"

"The location can't be beat. It's directly across from Manly Beach. So, what else do you need? It needs to be clean and safe. Yup! What else would be good? Food and drink and friendly staff. Yup! Pretty great as long as you're not looking for a luxury hotel."

"Very middle of the road and a bit pricey for what it is. 100m to the beach is nice, but 1k to the center. Not dirty, but exactly clean... typical beach house. Staff is a almost too laid back, but very friendly and helpful. As a mother and son traveling together they gave us a room with two beds and when our door didn't lock and they quickly fixed it. The room had plenty of space and was well furnished with a couch and table for four. The "kitchen" had a double sink, medium fridge and microwave, with basic tableware including a cutting board and knives!"

"The moment I stepped into the room, I was overwhelmed by the view of the Pacific Ocean; it was so relaxing. Opening the balcony door allows me to enjoy a drink while listening to the ocean, while closing it lets me quietly watch TV. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"This is probably the worst hostel you can stay for the your money. $58 for a smelly, dirty, old and disgusting place. Unbelievable! The bunk beds are old, squeecky, shavky and the mattress old, thin and smelly. Smells like piss in the toilets. I've stayed in many hostels in Australia but this one beat everyone. Better sleep in a tent guys"
