"Just returned from a week staying at this hotel and stayed on a room only basis with a lovely sea view. The kitchenette area and bathroom were quite dated but were clean. Fresh towels every couple of days. There was no room cleaning but we were advised that the staff would be happy to arrange this if requested. Pool area nice and relaxed, no shortage of sunbeds and again pool area was kept clean and tidy. Ideally situated for some lovely bars and restaurants in S’Illot- notably Plan B and Quattro. Fab cocktails in the Prohibition cocktail bar. V short walk to Sa Coma and for those wanting to walk further afield to Cala Millor/Cala Bona (about 1hr 30 mins) - take the route via El Castell - great bar and restaurant to break the walk. We would stay at this hotel - great value for money! We also found the staff to be friendly and helpful."

"Firstly, I want to state that we have returned from our holiday today and, overall, we had a lovely time. The pools are great and, apart from the first day, were clean. The entertainment team are super talented — the dancing in the shows is next level and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them go on to Strictly! The rooms are okay, although they could definitely use an upgrade. Unfortunately, the air conditioning stopped working after the first night, which was particularly difficult given the heat. One of the biggest issues for us was becoming unwell during our stay. I experienced sickness which we believe was caused by food, and after speaking to several other guests, we were told that they had experienced similar symptoms. This really impacted the latter part of our holiday and was particularly difficult as we were travelling with a young child. I appreciate that illness can happen on holiday and that it isn’t always possible to establish exactly what caused it. However, the fact that we spoke to several other guests who had also been unwell made us feel that this was something that should be looked into. Overall, we did enjoy our holiday and there are definitely positives to the hotel, particularly the entertainment team and the pools. However, with some improvements to the rooms, air conditioning and, most importantly, the food and hygiene standards, I think this hotel could be so much better."

"This place is truly delightful, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The room was spotless and well-organized, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely, and the view of the sea from the breakfast area added a special touch. The environment is peaceful and serene, largely due to the fact that most guests are couples, creating a quiet and relaxing ambiance. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The pool is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of sunbeds available for guests to enjoy. It's worth noting that a car is essential for reaching this location, as access is via a single road. However, the effort is rewarded with nearby romantic and tranquil beaches, as well as easy access to Santanyí, Manacor, and Cala D’or, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. In summary, this place is stunning, and I highly recommend it, especially for couples seeking a peaceful retreat."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Principal Son Amoixa—the property is truly stunning! A special thank you to Pedro from the concierge team and Aina from the restaurant. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit, making our experience even more memorable. We spent five nights at the hotel and especially appreciated having such a peaceful and relaxing retreat to return to after long days training at the tennis academy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return."

"I can’t recommend this as a budget friendly hotel enough . I travelled myself and my 7 year old daughter. We ranger from airport is around a hour but hotel is located not even a 5 minute walk to a couple of bars and activities and market shops which is perfect ! Also the beach is around 10/15 minute walk On a private path way , we stayed in the main building which was spotless ! Our room perfect lovely and clean with room cleaning happening daily the hotel it’s self the lobby toilets were spotless and brand new ! The pool area was huge and plenty of space got everyone , yes it was busy and yes I had to get up around 7 to get a decent spot at the front and even bagged the adjustable bed two days in a row so I could sit up and watch my daughter safely in the pool . Only downside not much shaded area where you can provide your shade and not wait for the sun to move . Pools were lovely and clean and surrounding area too . Middle pool was perfect for us both to go and didn’t need to go in the deeper pool at the top . Lovely that you’re able to walk in over climbing in and out . Bar can get busy and can be queuing but top tip as you only had 2 cups take a small bottle or buy the slushy cup and use the two cups for yourself and fill your child’s one up then you have two drinks without having to re queue same was done at the evening too . Food was basic but nothing you couldn’t eat . Breakfast coulda done with mushrooms but had bacon sausages beans two types of egg range of breads and pastries and cereals . But was always something to eat . Dinner we used the snack bar which was lovely and tea coulda been more variety but what was provided was edible esp the Mexican night which was lovely ! The entertainment couldn’t be faulted ! But day time woulda been better if advertised so we could be around on the last evening we didn’t know they did an exotic pet show ! Or mermaid after the Hawaiian show . The night entertainment was amazing included a Disney show magician circus pop band and white dance party ! All amazing ! For the price I paid for myself and my daughter I’d definitely return and recommend where possible ! Please try for yourself and don’t read the negatives !"
