"I originally booked a hotel in Palma, but it was canceled temporarily, so I booked this hotel. It is very suitable for friends who drive by themselves. There are enough parking spaces in front of the hotel. The scenery of the hotel is simply amazing. Looking out from the restaurant and swimming pool area is the jelly sea that tourists are after. It feels no different from other popular jelly seas. You don't have to drive to other jelly seas. You can get there in a few minutes' walk. Go to the beach and play in the water. The room facilities are average, but they are sufficient, clean and tidy, and beer is provided on the first night. However, like many Spanish hotels, there is no water refill, so you can buy a few more bottles of water to prepare when you go out. Overall, it can be selected into the Life Hotel Series. Although the hardware is a bit ordinary, the scenery is really amazing. I will consider staying here again next time."

"Fantastic hotel, the view from my room was out of this world, the hotel was spotless as usual , the staff and management outstanding as usual. Their helpfulness was as always superb. I only had breakfast here which was very good as I like to go to the local restaurants which are all very good. I was totally relaxed here and haven't felt that way for a while , the gardens are super and I used to enjoy a drink and relax just admiring them I shall certainly be back next year God willing Than you so much to all at club silliot but I missing the manager who has retired, happy retirement and thank you for all you've done for me"

Rafa Nadal Academy Residence in Mallorca

📍 Ctra. Cales de Mallorca s/n, Km 1, 2, Manacor
★★★★ 9.1 (77 reviews)

"My wife and I are very disappointed at Rafa Nadal’s summer camp. We took our 8 year old son for 1 week non boarding and experienced the following to name a few: - on the last day when they had the field trip my son got lost from his group and he was left behind. He asked other monitors for help but instead they took him to a room to watch TV with all the other kids that were sick resulting in my son getting sick 3 days later. I wonder what controls they have so that the kids don’t get lost? - when I arrived and asked what had happened they started coming with different excuses: first they said my wife had sent an email asking that my son doesn’t go on the field trip (I’m still waiting to see a copy of such an email which is a lie), then they said that my son had said he wasn’t feeling well which I asked my son and he never said so, then they told me it was my responsibility to take him to the meeting point at the time of the field trip which is also incorrect, etc. - communication was extremely poor. The schedule I was provided had the wrong pick up times and everyone had a different answer. - It was impossible to get times that were correct which resulted in wrong pickup times and my child left waiting. - the kids spend 10 hours a day and no one tells them to reapply sunscreen. My son came home sunburnt the second day. His bag with his swimsuit and change of clothes somehow got lost and although he asked for help to find it, no one helped him to locate his bag and ended up swimming in the pool in his tennis clothes, no goggles, no sunscreen and no towel. I picked him up at the end of the day soaking wet. In summery, I expected the academy to be professional but instead they’re a bunch of young kids running this camp. This place is the the epitome of incompetence. Lastly, although they know of my grievances they did not bother to call to see how my son is doing. These things were noticed by me because my son was a day camper. If my child was boarding I may never find out about these occurrences. "

"Travelling as a couple for a one-week all-inclusive stay, we came away feeling a bit mixed about this hotel. Admittedly, the weather was not on our side for most of the week, which definitely highlighted some of the negatives. The biggest issue for us was how isolated the hotel is. In good weather this may not feel as noticeable, but when you’re limited by rain and wind, there really isn’t much nearby or within easy walking distance. The resort itself also seems to lack toilets in convenient places — for example there are none in the gym area, and the one toilet on the beach was out of service during our stay. The gym itself also had no floor mats, which felt like an odd omission. Storage in the rooms was very limited too, especially for a week-long stay as a couple. We had to request a clothes airer, and there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Apparently kettles are available from reception with a deposit, but this wasn’t communicated to us beforehand. Similarly, there was no bottled water in the room on arrival — you’re expected to use the water refill stations around the resort, but again this wasn’t explained at check-in. The buggy transport around the resort was also quite sporadic, which became frustrating at times given the size/layout of the complex. Another thing to mention is that this hotel is VERY family-oriented. Children everywhere. If you’re a couple looking for a quieter or more relaxed atmosphere, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. That said, there were definitely positives too. The all-inclusive food offering was good overall, with plenty of choice and somewhere always available to grab food between 10am and 9.30pm. The staff were generally helpful enough, the rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi worked really well throughout the resort. A personal highlight: the free-flowing Freixenet and the fact you can get Cornettos on the all-inclusive definitely helped soften some of the weather-related misery! Overall, not a terrible stay, but probably better suited to families than couples."

"I don't normal write reviews of hotels, but I just got back from the Rural Son Mas with my children, and I was so impressed with the hotel I wanted to write a review. From the minute we arrived, everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The building itself is beautiful and has been thoughtfully restored. The grounds are phenomenal, and the view from the pool was lovely and so relaxing. Dinner in the evening was cooked to order and was delicious. So was the breakfast. If you are looking for a charming, family orientated hotel which is non corporate and very personal, I would totally recommend the Son Mas. We can't wait to return."

"Do not trust the “chefs” to cook the meat in front of you. We did and ended up with the rawest chicken possible. Was only due to another review about food poisoning and common sense that made me check and a good job I did. Staff acted as if this was normal with no apology issued almost as if we were being an inconvenience to them. Room outdated with an unpleasant smell, entertainment limited, poolside never properly cleaned and the fact they cut your wristband off come 12pm and essentially kick you out unless you pay more is shocking. The location was great, decent transfer time and a shout out to the lifeguard who always made sure that walkways and exits were never blocked but sunbeds although I do think the hotels no inflatables rule isn’t great, especially for the kids visiting. Would we return? No, but you get what you pay for here. If certain things were addressed the hotel would be 10 times better."

"Lovely setting for these apartments with a restaurant right nearby (ideal for those tired evenings!). The pool is uncrowded, there's free parking, and it's far from the hustle and bustle of larger resorts. The spacious apartment is very clean, with two studios joined in the middle by a dining room and kitchenette. Just a little tip: if there are four of you, remember to bring small Starbucks-style espresso pods for the next morning! But the reception staff are so helpful and friendly that they'll cater to your every need! Thank you to the whole team!"

"Overall good, there's parking outside, four swimming pools, and plenty of sun loungers, and they don't take reservations. The food was good, just a minor complaint about the live cooking...otherwise, it was like any other hotel. The all-inclusive package was very good, with no queues and generous portions. The staff were very professional and friendly. (10) Overall, very good."

"Efficient check in, arrived for lunch, handy luggage room for a short period prior to rooms ready. Rooms were clean and spacious, was nice to have a bath shower option, we did have a sandy day but rooms were refreshed daily, towel changes on request (in the bath or hung) We had mixed weather so the air con and balcony options were great for comfortable temperatures. Pool area was clean and accessible, the 2 daily lifeguards were very attentive, communicated well and prioritised safe fun. Lee was outstanding, he learned quickly folks swim ability and set challenges for my son with others entertaining him for hours and inspiring him towards his job. Beach was a short walk, a lovely cove with great waves, again felt safe with clear lifeguard post roped off areas. We did notice that some left rubbish or buried it, this was unfortunate, bins were clearly nearby. A handy kiosk that accepted card and cash (really thankful for cash preferred) Toilets were not always open per their timetable but hotel near by. On our last day we had a couple of nips (nibbles) at our 1 mosquito bite each, we have to assume this was hungry sea bream, or so google suggest? Cliff top walks, I found a circuit from the hotel through town & back to hotel, it was fairly signposted. These were safe with the odd bench for a bit relaxing sea views. Town has lots of shops with a market type feel walking through one to another, good for the odd bit souvenir and both the animal and central mini golf set ups were great. Food, for a fussy eater there was choice, drinks accessible, and so nice to have soup options, We ate well. Snackbar options of hotdogs and cakes were readily available. Although not big eaters we did eat and drink well. Dress in the restaurant was casual but not swimwear, fair. Check out was a little bit of. faff, we requested late check out but wasn’t available in this instance, however we could book a shower space with fresh towels. At our time however there was many checking in and reception was busy. Carting from the luggage room to broken showers was a bit of a juggle, id know now to be a little more organised with packing. Shower key returned and onto a doorstop transfer. I think this was just unlucky with timings as reception were often relatively calm. Only 2 lifts caused a bottle neck at periods but stairs were clean clear and achievable. Would return to this relaxing space, calm and clean. Thanks team for a great October break with mixed weather."

Reserva Rotana Golf Resort Hotels in Manacor

Reserva Rotana Golf Resort

"Very disappointed with the restaurant's new concept. We have been coming to Rotana for years to eat and loved the small seasonal menu. The restaurant was by far one of the best on the island... now they have pizza, burgers and spaghetti bolognese??? Even the "normal dishes" are no longer what they were six months ago. Unfortunately, the service has become even more rude and snappy. A real shame!!"

"We had an amazing week at club Cala Romani! The atmosphere and daytime entertainment around the pool was fantastic, public relations manager Beth assisted with a proposal for my partner on the beach during our stay and communicated fantastically whilst helping me to arrange things on the run up to the holiday and gave all the information we needed on arrival! Brilliant hotel with lots of things to do throughout the day would definitely recommend!"

Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort Hotels in Manacor

Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Alua Calas de Mallorca, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is simply sensational, with direct access to the sea and breathtaking views. The colour of the water and the surrounding scenery are stunning! It feels like a hidden gem, and it’s hard to believe it’s only a couple of hours from the UK. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. A special thank you to Raffaella, the Guest Experience Manager, for the personalised welcome tour at check-in, which made us feel immediately valued. We also appreciated the flexibility with a late checkout. The entertainment was outstanding and the best we have ever experienced in a hotel. There was a great mix of activities for children and adults, and the team’s passion and energy really stood out. In particular, Antonella, Wilson, Gonzalo, and Nerea were amazing and made the kids’ club and activities truly special. The food was very good with plenty of variety. The fresh pasta station at lunch was a highlight for our family and something we looked forward to every day. Minor issues included some food not always being warm enough and occasional cleanliness of plates, but this did not detract from the overall experience. The VIP facilities were excellent, especially the private lounge with snacks and drinks throughout the day and sensational views, plus the peaceful outdoor sunbed area. Overall, this was a truly memorable family holiday. The combination of an amazing location, great food, outstanding entertainment, and exceptional staff made it one of our best stays ever and we would seriously consider returning."

Hotel Club S'Illot ★★★
"A party of four of us have just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. We booked a superior room and were all inclusive, which was definitely worth the small extra charge. The room was clean and spacious, with some nice extra touches, bathrobes, tea/ coffee and a refrigerator, our room had two balconies, both had stunning views. The staff were attentive and friendly, a ‘special mention ‘ for Jose, the barman, and the lovely ladies in the dining room who looked after us during our stay. The food was excellent quality, and abundant in quantity, a varied selection every mealtime, so much to choose from. Located just on the beach and within walking distance of the busier resorts of Sa Coma, Cala Millor and Calla Bona. We have visited S’Illot eight times so far, and have stayed in other hotels at this resort. Club S’illot wins hands down with us, we will definitely return. Thank you to all of the staff that made our stay so enjoyable. As holiday accommodation providers ourselves, we appreciate the effort made by all."

Rafa Nadal Academy Residence in Mallorca ★★★★
"I injured myself half way through the weeks training. I was left to myself with no assistance and had to get a plastic bag of ice from the bar. Despite having to go to hospital they will not refund the cost of any of the training I missed only offer credit which I cannot use. No free medical or physio assistance even if injured in training. The food is also disgusting at Wimbledon restaurant (which is what you get with the board) it is inedible dregs unless you eat very early, which is not possible with evening tennis. There are almost zero vegetarian options. The coaches are nice but tend to be young and don’t always offer much specific feedback. A couple of notable exceptions to this but the coaches at Mouratoglou are of a higher level. Rooms do not have any cooking or washing facilities which is very inconvenient for a tennis camp. Laundry is paid and it takes 24+ hours to come back. Location is quite remote and taxis are scarce. 15 mins walk into Manacor there are much better food options than the overpriced dining at the academy. Great gym and I enjoyed the fitness training when I was able to participate. The lectures were quite average. Great pro shop. Rafa shop is overpriced and the colour ran on the clothing I purchased. Courts great quality especially the indoor ones. Overall extremely expensive and very disappointing experience mainly because of the lack of assistance with my injury and the horrible food."
