"The hotel was clean, accessible and easy to find. The staff were amazing and the customer service was incredible from the moment we got there to the moment we left and for me even beyond that. They did a little Easter hunt around the hotel for all the children, with little treats as prizes! They didn’t ever stop, always available to help anyone that needed them and they worked so hard it was refreshing to see staff that really wanted to give the best customer service. They chatted with me and my daughter and made us feel welcome and comfortable, they were very informative and friendly at all times. During breakfast they were checking on everyone and making sure everything was fresh and topped up. They ran a very tight ship! The staff continued to help me after I left because I forgot something and they were so amazing in assisting me with getting this posted back, they even included an Easter egg for my daughter when they sent it back to me. This was a lovely gesture and I just can’t thank them all enough for everything !!"

"In the center of the town, it is very close to the shops, cafes and restaurants on the high street, and a few steps away from the theater. It is a very historic hotel, very warm and very British. The room is quite traditional, but the comfort is OK. In the town is a well-off cost-effective choice. The bar and restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is very good, very warm feeling of the country family tavern, the taste is also very good, it is worth a try"

I appreciated the possibility of enjoying the hotel parking. Breakfast is good, the staff is kind and my room is very good."

"Staff excellent. Right next to shops, restaurants and the hills. Room very comfortable but not colour co ordinated at all. Old fashioned and just white. Shower over bath always difficult as you get older. Walk in shower much better. Supplied shower gel in small, fiddley plastic tubes could do with modernising."

The Wyche Inn

"Another excellent stay in this clean comfortable pub with rooms. Ideal for walking the hills as its near the summit . Excellent well looked after draft beers.Good pub grub with a varied menu. Breakfast tasty and plentiful. If you are visiting the showground or other attractions in the area then the Wyche is certainly worth considering. Probably our third visit and we wl be back."
