Sarpidon Apartments ★★★
"Incredible view. Very spacious balcony. There is a kitchen, soft mattress. Everything is very clean and decent."
Pyrgos Blue ★★★★
"Room with Jacuzzi not to be missed, modern and refined decoration, spacious room. Terrace with Jacuzzi and sea view (attention building under construction to take into account even if it does not obstruct the view). Impeccable cleanliness, very friendly common place, always free deckchairs. Small restaurant with low prices and open all day. All this not far from the hustle and bustle of Malia. Honestly excellent value for money."
Maria Rousse ★★★
"The family r amazing 10/10, clean garden lovely 2 pools bar lovely food stunning breakfast lovely fresh only thing I would say thy need the fruit covered like the bread cleaning bedding every two day we was in room. 115"
Le Palme ★★★
"Great location but that is about all. Our room was like a prison cell, shower area was disgusting! And you would be very lucky if you had a hot shower in the morning also you could only use shower as hand held as no bracket! Stayed 11 days and only had 2 hot showers in all that time! Did complain but was told that because it was cloudy the day before the water tanks hadn't warmed the water HUH!! What an excuse. No wifi unless you sit by the pool Go cheap you certainly get what you pay for"
Creta Verano Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is a very nice place to stay if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep and relax, nice staff, clean rooms and good food. The staff were very polite and if you are respectful, you will earn respect. The hotel is close to the strip in a quiet area but is quite far from the beach. For its category, it is an excellent hotel."
Golden Bay Apartments-Garden Haven ★★★
"Great hospitality so lovely stay !!!"
Villa Mare Monte ApartHotel ★★★★
"When i arrived to the hotel, i was not treated well and she spoke to me horribly the staff was awful and rude and the rooms was a mess, this hotel needs to be investigated as there was bodily fluids left in the room on the pillow, do not go here it is awful"
Stelios Gardens ★★
"We arrived at 23.15hrs and received a warm welcome from Yannis and Nikki the owners. Very family orientated business with Stelios, their son helping out in the bar and restaurant. Nikki should be an interior designer .. the bar, restaurant and surroundings are tastefully decorated with a beach theme. Breakfast was buffet style and there was ample choice. Dined a couple of times too and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend it. 3 minute walk from the beach."
Neon Hotel ★★
"Thank you, Neon Hotel. Your location was just what we were after, a proper Crete family hotel. The staff are so friendly, nothing too much trouble, we had a sea view room and WOW that view!!, The Bed was large and comfortable, the shower large and plentiful supply of hot water. Spotlessly clean, pool side food spot on. Will defo try and make time for a second visit."

"We stayed at the hotel for 7 days. The room was clean and the hotel had been renovated. Breakfast was the same every morning, but it offered a variety of options. Dinner was served at a hotel 200m away. We didn't enjoy the dinner due to the uniform taste of the dishes. While the food was filling, it wasn't exceptional. The pool was all right, but unfortunately, there was no poolside bar. Air conditioning was available for an additional 8 euros per day, and the towels were changed every 3 days, while the sheets were not changed throughout our 7-day stay. One inconvenience was that if you returned after 23:00, the staff would speak in hushed tones at the reception and all the lights would be turned off, which seemed a bit overdramatic. However, the staff was really friendly and accommodating. Despite these minor inconveniences, we are definitely considering coming back again!"
Melissa Apartments, Studios & Suites
"Last day at this super friendly hotel and like most guests we have already re booked for next year. The hotel is ideally situated just outside Malia old town which is beautiful and has numerous inexpensive restaurants to choose from. Last but not least a big thank you to Ingrid, George and family for making us feel so welcome and Marianna for being super efficient behind the bar serving everyone with a smile 😃 highly recommend."
Parthenis Beach, Suites by the Sea
"Two nights room rate 500 euros not refunded me"
Despina Aparthotel by Philoxenia Hotel & Spa
"This is the WORST hotel i have ever been to in my life. There was ants all over the floor in my room as well as the ceiling leaking causing puddles. It also labels the spa as included with the hotel but you have to pay €10 for an hour, which this was falsely advertised to us. The quality of the food was horrendous and was untouched by majority of the people. If you are thinking of staying at this hotel DO NOT DO IT!"
Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort
"I had the great fortune to stay here for a week with my friend, who had been here 4 times prior to this . It was so beautifully laid out along the beach it had 3 pools ? Several restaurants, a spa and a gym . We were upgraded to a junior suite with such a beautiful view of the beach . The room was lovely , very spacious and very clean . The staff were all so lovely .And nothing was top much trouble. A special shout out to Socrates the barman in the pool bar , he was hilarious and great fun . The food was amazing in the Asian fusion restaurant and Maria was lovely . She remembered my friend from her previous stays and greeted her warmly. They even had a Cat Cafe where the guests could feed the local cats , which really meant a lot to me as I love cats. Everything was perfect. The only small downside was the channels on the TV..they were all in German The majority of people that stay there are German, they were all very quiet and pleasant, but it would have been nice to have a couple of English channels for when we got back to our room in the evening."
Ikaros Beach, Luxury Resort & Spa - Adults Only
"The service was incredible, everybody was really nice and professional. Especially Anneta my massage therapist who helped me a lot with the pain I had in my shoulders and my back. Thank you so much"
Phāea Cretan Malia, a Member of Design Hotels
"The two-day stay was way too expensive for the hotel, knowing that there are people staying there for half the price—though for a week. However, it is a nice, large hotel where the low-rise design adds value."
Enorme Ammos Beach
"I just came back from a massage with Alexandra. She was so nice and professional. I highly recommend her! The massage was perfect! "
Dionisos Hotel
"We had a team group and we chose this hotel for our tournament. Exceptional hotel in Malia with new amenities, wonderful staff and fantastic owners. We definetly recommend this hotel for all tourism reasons."
Malia Mare Hotel
"Overall the hotel is lovely and clean, and the majority of the staff are lovely. It was just a shame that the woman who I believe may be a part owner was incredibly rude. She was always very blunt and dismissive, and never smiles. On our last day, when our taxi arrived she entered our room and got really angry at us, ordering us out, telling me “give me the key, give me that bath mat, give me that towel” and being very rude and hostile saying we had to get out now. We also had a poor experience with the cleaner, who came in our room when we were all fast asleep and continued to clean around us, very loudly and opening the curtains, we also found her to he very rude. It is a shame they were so hostile, because other than that all the facilities were amazing, food and drinks at the bar were great. Mike the security guard was absolutely amazing, so friendly and he really did his job to a T, cannot thank him enough for everything he did. I would recommend staying here, i would just be cautious of treading on their toes!! The aircon is also not great, in 3 different rooms it was leaking and barely even noticeably on so that was also a down side. €9 a day to waft hot air around the room😔"
Notos Heights Hotel & Suites
"Very solid all round hotel, The fella at the bar called Kostas was a right gent and made our stay superb. The food was class and the surrounding area was very nice apart from walking up the hill on the way back. Thank you also to the chef who taught us a lot about Greek culture."
Yiannis Manos Hotel Resort
"After reading other reviews I wasn’t sure on what to expect when I arrived but I wasn’t presently surprised, the hotel was very clean, on our arrival we turned up late after the bar stopped serving food, but the bar staff were very friendly and ordered us a pizza from town which was great, thank you. The rooms are very basic but clean, this what we had payed for.Our room was very hot first night but there was a extra charge for AC but it was reasonable and manage to get a good night sleep. The pool area was good plenty of loungers, With some younger groups of people but no problem, and mixture of families and couples, The bar food was amazing and ate here a couple of times, Staff were always friendly and happy to help. The hotel was safe to walk around walk ..no hassle what time of night or day. Definitely would return."
Koni Village Hotel
"Just wanted to say that we had a great stay. It was 3* and it did exactly what it was supposed to. Rooms basic but cleaned daily, food had a good range of choices, probably missing something for younger ones with plain tastes like nuggets or pizza but overall very tasty! Nice pool, no fights for sunbeds, staff very friendly and helpful. It is up a hill and we were right at the top but that is made clear when you boom it. Great location, right on the bus route and a ten minute walk to Stalis"
Sirens Beach & Village
"The massage was really relaxing and really enjoyed the 40 mins."
Philoxenia Hotel & Spa
"We have recently returned from a ten day family holiday and unfortunately, hotel wise, it was a slightly disappointing experience. The lady receptionist doing the day shift was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The barman was also nice and friendly. The three male members of staff we encountered behind the desk during the evenings were rude and challenging at times. It lacked the personal touch that most Greek places have and the room was quite dated and in need of a revamp. For the money we paid, I was expecting a lot more and the photos made it look more glamorous than it was in reality. The shower was continually going from hot to cold and this was quite frustrating. Lots of noise in the early hours from people returning from their nights out with lots of shouting, singing, screaming and banging on doors. It was clean however and the room was cleaned everyday plus fresh towels/bedding every other day which was a huge plus."
High Beach Resort
"Didi, the Lady from the Spa is the friendliest we've ever met. We have a lot of expierence in having massages and here it was extraordinary !! Didi and the team are very professionell and very friendly. We are looking forward to come again to meet her and to have a treatment with Pablo and Maria, who made a excellent Job doing the Massage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 Star rating is not enough 👍"
