"The standard rooms, chalets and cabins are not worth the money they charge for them. Most are far away from where one's vehicle must park. The perimeter walls to the property look "dodge" and unsafe. We were not prepared to stay in the chalets, rooms or cabins and had to resort to taking one of the bigger river view chalets for our peace of mind and safety, this was at an additional cost of close to R500 for the night. In general, the place is dated and is in serious need of maintenance. IN general, the prices are over the top and are exploiting the traveller by charging a hefty price because it has a view of the Kruger Park. "

"Mhlati Guest Cottages were gorgeous! My room was huge with a large bathroom and small attached kitchen. It had coffee (instant and filter), tea and real milk! The breakfast was made to order and delicious. The cottages are located less than 2 km from the gate to Kruger. Just a perfect night before starting a safari!"

River House Lodge
"Stayed at the newly renovated lodge and couldn't praise it more. The rooms are bigger than before and the layout has changed with the rooms having everything you need (inclding small touches like fresh milk and cafetiere). However, the star attraction is the lodge balcony which reaches out to the river, where you can sit and eat breakfast or dinner - or just relax with the free to use binoculars. On arrival there were elephant and hippos just roaming below. There is an abundance of wildlife for you to view roaming by. The meals were first class and Johan with his team make sure you are taken care of. The final bonus is the short drive to Malalane gate for quick access to Kruger for self drive or Eswatini is a simple drive away."

"Good location of the Lodge in relation to the Malelane gate of the Kruger Park. Nice rooms. Delicious food in the associated restaurant and friendly service. Work points - Breakfast is very limited and mediocre. Coffee was lukewarm; no bread available. You have to pay extra for an omelette,… - insulation in rooms is downright bad. You hear everything the neighbors do. - generator next to the room causes a lot of noise."

"Beautiful guesthouse in a safe environment. Staff were helpful and very serviceminded. The garden is fantastic and well kept. Did really enjoy the stay here. Helpful with packed breakfast for an early morning in the game reserve."
