"Stunning, cozy, well built boutique hotel in Maitama. Quality of sleep 10/10 - like home away from home. Hotel has a lovely pool, outdoor seating and on site restaurant with attentive staff and great food. See attached photos of lunch (club sandwich) and breakfast (fruit platter + Poached Eggs on pumpernickel with smashed avocado and a side salad). I will be back here for all subsequent Abuja visits."

Belanova Apartments and Suites

"My honest review about my recent stay at Belanova Apartment which wasn't a great one,as i checked out disappointed and dissatisfied. I was on a business trip and stayed at Belanova Apartment, a day before i checked-out i ordered spaghetti in the evening after returning from the day activities,to my greatest surprises the spaghetti was tasteless,there was no single spices on the spaghetti,just spaghetti garnished with vegetable,i only tasted two spoon and got pissed off and then left the rest. The next morning i checked out disappointed,this is the second time i am having same bad experience with Belanoa food,my previous stay in August i ordered Egusi soup which tasted stale and also was not delicious,It was very disappointing considering the amount i paid to stay there. The room is very clean ,soft comfy bed smart TV and the staff are very nice and engaging particularly the Housekeeper who are doing a great job keeping the room clean and the the Front Desk team. I am sorry this review is coming late,Although I left a copy of the same review on the feedback form on the desk in the room hoping that the hotel will reach out to me. I will definitely return because of cleanliness and environment,but wont gamble with the hotel food anymore,as i will prefer to order food outside the hotel, i stayed in room 403 . I think the Chefs needs more training with regards to culinary skills and the management should look into this seriously,otherwise the hotel and a very beautiful property in a good location. Knightsbridge Hotel & Suites

"I wanted so wanted to gate keep this hotel but, listen you don't know me, but take my word for it. I expect the best standards when it comes to hotels, infact with many years of traveling I've found that sometimes the luxury hotels don't have the best service, cleanliness, security etc. I found this hotel on a whim while disappointed with the level of service at a more renowned hotel. This is a hidden gem! It checks all the boxes, hate to say this, there's an expectation that maintainance culture is often less the priority in the hospitality industry here, however I have to give these guys full points. Although the room was functional and spotless the bed was a little hard, liked the fact that it's a small hotel with only a handful of rooms, service wise, front desk was so pleasant, gate security very helpful - even offered to walk us down the road to grab a late dinner. The area is secure, you can't beat the IG of police right opposite this location. I definitely recommend this hidden gem boutique hotel. Well done to the management team and keep up the great work."

The Mayrock Hotel

"The Mayrock was an almost excellent place to stay. I say almost because there were two issues with the bathroom, however, the management was quick to try to resolve the issues as soon as I notified them. The management and staff did so much to make our stay enjoyable. I spent the period with my son and we did not have any reason to complain. The hotel is clean, and the menu is extensive with well cooked meals. The management and all staff were professional, polite and just a pleasure to be around. I fully recommend this hotel and will definitely make it my hotel of choice on my next trip to Abuja."
