This apartment has a good location. The surrounding environment is also good. The whole room is quite large, with a large bed suite and a sofa bed, which is no problem for 4 people. There is also a relatively large kitchen, but unfortunately we only stayed for one night, so we didn't use it. Our European trip started in Madrid. So I was a little confused after taking a taxi to the hotel after sitting on a plane for more than ten hours, and forgot to take pictures of the interior of the room. However, there are many restaurants around downstairs, and our branch ate at the restaurant diagonally opposite this apartment. Overall, it's not bad.

It was a place that doubled the fun of Madrid. I was able to relax in a spacious room, and the kitchen was great, so I was able to cook without any inconvenience. It is located in a place where you can get to the main attractions in the city in about 15 minutes, and we even walked to Gran Via for exercise. I would be willing to use it again the next time I visit Madrid.

The room is clean and self-check-in is convenient. Our family, four adults and one child, has two queen beds and two double beds which are enough for us. There is a bed behind the living room that is separated by a curtain, so there is no problem for a family. It may be a little inconvenient for several families. Two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and we have cooked a few meals. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine which are very convenient. Cleaned every day. Just no kitchen scissors. There was also a little lack of coffee. Five people who stayed for three nights were only given two coffee capsules. Others are perfect. like very much. The location is very good, just ten minutes walk to Sun Palace Square. Retiro Park is not far either.

This was our FIFTH visit to 60 Balconies. We could not have been more satisfied with the accommodation and location. This is immensely more comfortable than any hotel. The apartments are large, clean and well appointed with everything you could need: a full kitchen with cutting boards, scissors, can openers, washing machine with detergent, Nespresso coffee maker, shampoo, body gel, and a lock box. It is located near Chueca near the San Antón market and tons of shopping and cool eats like Celso y Manolo. It is about 10 minutes walking to El Retiro park and 15-20 minutes to the Plaza Mayor. You are far enough away from all of the tourists to enjoy the local scene without being too far from major attractions. Don’t miss the Flamenco show at the cultural center just around the corner from 60 Balconies. Advice for 4 guests: pay for the more expensive apartment (3B) instead of the apartments with the pullout sofa beds.

Perfect location. Easy walking distance to most famous spots, including Mercado Markets and the Plaza Mayor. Flamenco across street. Absolutely spotless. Lovely outdoor space. Reception most helpful.

This was a different hotel experience, as our room was really an apartment with a lot of space compared to the Central Madrid hotels we had been staying in. This hotel doesn’t offer a pool or gym (that we know about), but feels like you are in an @irBNB. Our room had 2 full bathrooms, a Murphy bed, a Queen (?) bed, full kitchen with washing machine (great for the laundry piling up in your suitcase — but NO dryer, just a rack), living room. Location is great and close to various attractions. The block is quiet and a short walk in any direction you can find restaurants and shops. Les Jardines de Retiro is a short distance and very much worth a visit.

The service, the attentiveness! They recommended several places to go. And they were also flexible with the check-in time! The location is a plus! We opted to include breakfast: super good, varied, quality and super abundant. We found everything perfectly clean and in accordance with the description.

In the heart of the best area of Madrid, Chueca. Beautiful apartments with all the services. Staying in an apartment but with the privileges of a hotel, daily cleaning, they replenish everything you need, from toilet paper, capsules for the washing machine / dishwasher, etc. This is the second time we have stayed and we hope to return. A great success.

On August 1, my family and I arrived at the hotel on Almirante Street ready to start our vacation. Our expectations were high, based on the price we paid, the promising photos, and the hotel's online reputation. But reality was discouraging from the first moment. The lack of warning about fines in Madrid Central when arriving by car was an unexpected blow. How is it possible that a so-called luxury hotel does not worry about informing its guests about this? Traveling with a baby already comes with challenges, and this surprise made it even more complicated. My request for help was ignored, and the lack of empathy left us feeling helpless. The apartment we found looked nothing like the photos online. The worn and dirty walls, aged door frames and dated bathrooms were a total disappointment. Our investment of more than €200 did not correspond to the reality we found, and the difference was painfully evident. The worst moment was when the refrigerator door broke when opened, rendering it unusable. This situation became a total nonsense when traveling with a baby who needed food and to be able to store fresh medicines. Our call for help went unanswered, and the feeling of abandonment was overwhelming. Despite our requests for help with both the car situation and the condition of the apartment, we were ignored. Even expressing our frustration only generated an indifferent response. The promise of "I'll write it down and send it to my manager" turned out to be empty, without explanations or apologies. Almost a month later, after exhausting hope that the company would contact us and give us the necessary explanations, I contacted them. Nothing new under the sun. Excuses and empty words that will not change the terrible experience suffered nor will they reverse the worst start to a vacation that one can imagine.
