Holiday Inn Express & Suites CHOWCHILLA - YOSEMITE PK AREA by IHG ★★★★
"The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel breakfast was rich and varied, and two adults and two children lived very comfortably."
Knights Inn Madera ★★
"Room good, unfortunately the whole time of the water hang dropped. Handtucks enough. We sleeped well, windows could be opened, street just next to, did not disturb the duck."
Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino ★★★
"This trip was a lot of fun."
SureStay Hotel by Best Western Chowchilla Yosemite ★★
"I chose this hotel on the way to Yosemite. It's a typical motel. It's not bad for one night's stay. The room is clean and breakfast is provided, but the air conditioner is very noisy."
Days Inn by Wyndham Chowchilla Gateway to Yosemite ★★
Hampton Inn & Suites Madera ★★
"Quiet and clean. I stayed in room 314 on the third floor, next to the elevator, and didn't hear any noise. The hotel is right next to Highway 99, which is very convenient. The free breakfast is OK, and the lobby also provides free oranges, apples, and tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi signal is good👍."
Yosemite Southgate Hotel & Suites ★★★
"This hotel is quite close to Yosemite, and the room was very spacious. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. The breakfast was just okay, but honestly, American hotel breakfasts aren't usually great anyway; it filled me up."
The Pines Resort ★★★
"Nice view and good for couple and the sun set here is amazing though beware of bears."
Holiday Inn Express MADERA-YOSEMITE PK AREA by IHG ★★★
"Clean and spacious. Free Continental breakfast buffet included for up to 4 ppl in a double queen room. Breakfast included: - cereal - oatmeal - scramble eggs - biscuits and gravy - turkey patties and pork sausage - assorted breads, packaged muffins and cinnamon rolls - juice fountain, milk in the refrigerator, and yogurt There was also a simple fitness center (has a water dispenser inside, cold and room temperature water) and a pool onsite with a hot tub. At night the staff got very busy cuz it seemed like only one person was covering everything. But they are friendly and helpful. Can ask the front desk for free toothpaste and toothbrush. One notable con is that there were no hot water kettles nor a hot water dispenser in the lobby. (How do u drink the teas?) Hot coffee was available in the lobby and in the room using a Keurig machine. Ended up using the microwave to heat up water."

Château du Sureau
"This gem is located just over 90 minutes from the central Yosemite Valley. It provides all the comforts of the best B&Bs, like in room welcome wine & treats, comfortable beds, great dining, and exceptional service. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and great service at the intimate Cellar restaurant."
WorldMark Bass Lake
"This timeshare was just remodeled. It is beautiful and spacious. We loved staying there. It is near to Yosemite. While Kings Canyon NP is a drive, it can serve as a great central location. We loved the lake being so close. We were lucky enough to get a lake view"
Oakhurst Lodge
"Shower had obviously not been cleaned as there was the plastic protector from a disposal razor still in the shower and hair in the sink. Front desk was very friendly. Guests were disgusting. At breakfast a guy was sneezing, sniffling, blowing his nose and then touching multiple items in the food area with out washing his hands after blowing his nose."
The Four Daughters
"The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright – a top choice for vacations."
A Bed of Roses
The Inelle, Oakhurst Yosemite, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"The room layout was great and very clean. It's right in the town center with restaurants nearby and car rentals within walking distance."
Yosemite Sierra Inn
"Good room location, friendly front desk service"
Narrow Gauge Inn
"Not far from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, there's a row of houses along the road, with one or two more rows following the hillside. Although the rooms aren't large, they have heating and hot water, making them quite comfortable and suitable for overnight stays. This would be convenient for visiting Sequoia National Park the next day. We drove an hour from the valley to get here in the evening, and when we set off at 9 am the next day, we were surprised to find ourselves queuing for two hours just to get into the south entrance. I recommend leaving early; the staff queuing for park entry is very organized. We valued our time, and after visiting the Sequoias and Glacier Point, we didn't get back to San Francisco until 11:30 pm. If we had arrived earlier, we would have greatly reduced the risk of traffic accidents."
Queen's Inn by the River
"Clean and bright, with comfortable chairs and tables at the back, it's an unforgettable place to sit in the evening and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the woods and the afterglow of the sunset."
Studio 6 Suites Madera, CA - Yosemite
"I walked into the room and it smelled horrible. there was no table and no chairs. Their ice machine does not work but I did find 2 half empty ice trays from Dollar Tree in the freezer. the TV was hanging crooked. the pillows on the bed if put together would have a small 1. the sheets and mattress covers were stained and little black bugs were found on each layer of bedding. they weren't bed bugs but still, who would want to sleep with any bug. the bath tub was filthy and the shower head has brownish stuff on it. I booked another motel. The manager never contacted me nor did I get any money back. so if you want a smelly, dirty room Studio 6 is the place to go. The pictures they show on the site are far from the ones I've included."
Hampton Inn Oakhurst-Yosemite
"The room was clean and tidy, perfect for a short family trip with kids. The only drawback was that the soundproofing wasn't great, so we were sometimes disturbed. Also, the hotel doesn't have charging facilities, which isn't very friendly for Tesla owners."
Sierra Meadows
"Beautiful village; I had a very good experience here. It takes 1.30 hours to reach Yosemite. The staff is very helpful."
Mountain Trail Lodge and Vacation Rentals
"The bathroom is too small and the towels have a little strange smell. The heating is sufficient but a little loud. The only drawback is that the bathroom is too small for bathing. The house is a little old and the TV is also old, but it is worth the price."
