Hotel des Alpes Reviews

The hotel (i.e. the building with a Swiss flag in my photo) has an excellent location, which is close to Luzern train station, the pier and a main bus stop. Ground floor is their restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast with a fantastic view of Chapel Bridge. Receptionists are friendly and welcoming. The room is cozy and clean. It is not big but I can still open my large suitcase. With its central location and service quality, I think it is absolutely a good value of money.

It's within 10 minutes walk from Lucerne Station, so it's okay to stay for one night and then move on. The proximity is the best. It's good to go with a carrier. It's good to leave your luggage before check-in. And there was a restaurant on the first floor, and they gave me a restaurant coupon. I couldn't use it. There was no electric kettle in the room. I think there was a coffee machine. When you go out, the Chapel Bridge is right in front, so it's good for moving around, and there's a Starbucks next to it.

It's hot, there are lots of mosquitoes, and the fan is very dusty.

The location is unbeatable, and the breakfast is delicious. The room has a nice view.
