The accommodation is located on the banks of Khan River. The location is good, and the atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and comfortable. The receptionist gave good advice and service.

Everything was great. The location was right in the middle of everything so you will not need to walk more than 15 minutes any direction to see the city highlights, the room was clean, and the service was good. The only issue that I had with the amenities was that the soap and shampoo provided were super watery and inconvenient to use.

Convenient location, beautiful view if the Kharn river, break fast is great.
The negative thing is noises from the construction along the khan river, the room have a smeel from bathroom.

Golden Lotus Namkhan View is located by the Namkhan river in Luang Prabang. It is not too far away from the night market, the Royal Palace, the mount Phu Si, and many beautiful temples. They also provide tours and motorbike rentals.
The rooms don't have a window but a glass door instead. There was a noisy ceiling fan that couldn't be switched off so we had to turn off the power and sleep with no A/C. Our room had been overbooked and we were given an inferior room without any explanation or compensation.
The breakfast provided wasn't too good but there were good coffee shops and food stalls not too far away.
I would recommend it for couples or solo travelers but not for families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Golden Lotus Villa River View. The location is perfect, a 5/10 minute walk to the night market, shops, restaurants and right at the base of the famous Phousi Hill. The room was clean, had a great shower, tv, hair dryer, safe and even dressing gowns. Everything we would need for our stay. Staff were really helpful providing us with extra towels and bottled water when required too. Our stay included breakfast - it was brilliant and service started at 7am - they had a large selection to choose from and it was made fresh for you to enjoy. We booked an amazing all day tour next door at Villa Nagara including Kuang Si waterfalls, lunch with elephants, Pak ou caves, whiskey village and a sunset cruise all included. It was such a great day out. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Luang Prabang I would recommend this hotel.
