Very disappointing experience – would not recommend
I had a really bad experience at this hotel. During my shower, the shampoo bottle accidentally slipped out of my hand and fell on my foot. I immediately informed the staff, expecting at least a simple “Are you okay?” or a replacement bottle. Instead, they didn’t replace it and even charged me 20 USD because the shampoo bottle broke.
For a hotel in this price range, especially when staying in a King Suite, this is absolutely unacceptable. The service felt cold and focused only on money, not on the guests’ well-being. I think it’s really disappointing, and it completely ruined the stay for me.
I would not recommend this hotel and will definitely not return.

Our second stay at the Luang Say and it lived up to expectations. We stayed in a more expensive Explorator suite and we'll worth the extra. Dinner is excellent but a little expensive.

A slightly tired but endearing colonial hotel. Comfortable large rooms, good pool and welcoming staff. Housekeeping is a bit haphazard but breakfast is great as was all the food we tried there, albeit a little expensive. Local transport to the Main Street and markets is $3 or less. We had a nice stay

Absolutely the right choice to travel to Luang Prabang for a long weekend. We fell in love with it and it was wonderful to stay at the hotel. Excellent care and consideration. They really did go above and beyond to help. The staff were walk and welcoming. Thank you!

Excellent choice, it couldn't be better!!! Staff, facilities and beauty from another time. We were most satisfied. I we will travel to Luang Prabang again we will chose this hotel again!

I came to Laos for the first time to explore and relax. I am enjoying my stay at this hotel so much that I keep extending my plan. The staff from front desk to service to kitchen to cleaning are so friendly and welcoming, warm-hearted and helpful.

大失所望，別説五星級，三星級的房間也比它強。不誇張説，是我住過最最沒有性價比的酒店，槽點實在太多：
1. 頁面訊息虛假，顯示兩張1.3米床，實際大概也就兩個椅子的寬度，絕對衹有1米了。
2. 酒店備品居然都沒有做到標準化，先是發現一次性拖鞋鞋底臟的，然後服務人員來換了兩雙風格材質樣式完全不同的一次性拖鞋。
3. 寫着2022年重新裝修，完全看不出近年裝修過的痕跡，地板各種痕跡，走一步還吱嘎亂響；房內的椅子是破的；還有就如前面有人評價的陽台藤椅是臟舊的；被套白裏發灰。
4. 一牆之隔就是當地居民住的，不到10米，從房間窗户可以直接看到對方院子，當晚他家不知道在燒什麼東西，煙全沖到我們房裡來了。
唯一水準在線的是服務人員的態度，但是這麼多硬傷選它太不值當了，我們超級後悔沒有在前一家續住，那家比它便宜一半強上一倍都不止。
