Decent Stay with a Few Trade-Offs
The hotel is in an okay location—about a 5-minute drive from the Mekong River and its main attractions. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but one unique experience is the alms-giving ceremony in the early morning around 5:30 AM. Since there’s a temple close by, you can watch the monks walk by right outside the hotel.
The rooms are quite spacious and cleaned daily. They come with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, which is a plus. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes for guests, making it easier to get around.
However, the rooms are not soundproof. If you’re in the main building, expect to hear other guests having meals or moving around throughout the day. The noise can be an issue, especially in the mornings. Location is just outside the old city center and therefore also outside the hustle and bustle. Everything was within walking distance.
Staff very friendly. Room very spacious.
Swimming pool is somewhat enclosed between two buildings so there was not much sun on the pool.
