The hotel was amazing, staff incredibly attentive and helpful, and the views spectacular. Very family friendly and just all around wonderful. We've never been here before, and this was the best place - warm and welcoming. A bit of confusion for us was how to get to the hotel. Our driver was not able to drive us to the hotel directly., so we contacted the hotel, and they were able to accommodate us and pick us up from the parking lot despite rather late notice on our part and again, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

The owner picked us up from the Dazhai parking lot. The hotel's location is even higher than Jinfoding Peak, which saved us the cable car fee. The scenery is absolutely stunning. I spent most of my time just lounging in the hotel, enjoying the views from the window.

## Facilities The guesthouse is very new, and the bedding quality is even better than what you'd find in chain hotels. It's equipped with a projector and a bathtub, and there's also an observation deck downstairs. ## Hygiene The place was spotlessly clean; you could comfortably walk barefoot on the floors. ## Environment It's just a few minutes' walk to Jinfoding Peak, which is incredibly convenient. From our guesthouse room, we enjoyed views of the mountains and rice terraces. We were also fortunate enough to witness a total ***** eclipse and the sunrise, both stunning sights. ## Service The owner personally provided pick-up and drop-off services. During the off-season, they upgraded our room type. The complimentary rice wine and monk fruit tea were both delicious. They also sell dried monk fruit at the guesthouse, which can be purchased and shipped for two yuan each.

The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous. We were even upgraded to a better room, and they patiently gave us excellent local recommendations. They also provided convenient shuttle service for going up and down the mountain. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and the mountain scenery was absolutely stunning.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and as we checked out, we even received a thoughtful farewell gift. The evening BBQ was a unique highlight. Our children had an absolute blast fishing, catching 7 fish which were then cooked into a delicious meal for lunch – the taste was simply fantastic! The entire place is incredibly photogenic, perfect for capturing memorable pictures.

The Jinfoding Observation Deck is just a few minutes' walk away, offering incredible photo opportunities. The owner even upgraded our room for free, ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay. Breakfast was also superb.

The guesthouse is ideally located, just a stone's throw from the Jinfoding Observation Deck. It's newly decorated and spotlessly clean. The view from the scenic rooms is absolutely breathtaking, and at night, you can even see the Milky Way! Gazing at the sky full of stars directly overhead was incredibly therapeutic and a delightful surprise. The owner provides fantastic service, offering complimentary round-trip transfers to Jinfoding, which saves you the cable car fee. During the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room for free, making the experience truly exceptional. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes made from ingredients grown and raised by the owner themselves – their own vegetables, chickens, and ducks. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located near the Jinfo Peak cable car terminal, and every room offers beautiful sunrise views. The owner provides pick-up and drop-off service from the Dazhai car park, which saves on cable car fares – excellent value for money! The rice paddy fishing was a lot of fun, and the kids absolutely loved it. The food was also delicious. There's a small children's play area. We also took advantage of the free ethnic costume experience; I'd recommend using your own phone for photos instead of their paid photographer.

We visited in August, the rainy season in Longsheng, and the terraced fields, cloaked in mist and rain, looked absolutely like a magical fairyland! The food at the guesthouse was truly delicious, especially the chicken soup – the chicken was incredibly tender and succulent. The service was also top-notch, and they even kindly gifted us some local specialties!

Even before my trip, I was concerned about inconvenient transportation and getting ripped off at the terraced fields. Despite carefully selecting a seemingly good quality option on Ctrip, I still fell into a trap. The 'rice field fun educational fishing experience' advertised as a special activity was riddled with issues. Firstly, there were no actual rice fields, just a muddy pond. Secondly, they charged an outrageous 78 RMB to cook the few small crucian carp we caught – a processing fee that was not disclosed or clearly priced beforehand. The final bill was shocking! Given the remote location and lack of convenient transportation once we arrived at the guesthouse, we felt entirely at their mercy. I'm unsure if this is an isolated incident or a widespread problem. For a room rate of 600-700 RMB, such poor service quality is simply unacceptable. It makes me wonder if all those positive reviews on Ctrip are fake.

Perched high on Jinfo Peak, this guesthouse features rooms decorated with a distinct local flair. With a large bamboo bed, it's heavenly to simply relax and gaze out from the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer truly breathtaking, tranquil views of the terraced fields. The guesthouse is run by a brother and sister duo. The brother and his brother-in-law, who handled our transfers, were incredibly hospitable. On the day we left, it was pouring rain, and they even drove us right into the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. The guesthouse also serves a very generous breakfast, with delicious rice noodles. For dinner, the rice paddy fish was exquisite, and the vegetables, grown in the guesthouse's own organic garden, were incredibly fresh and healthy. The rice wine had such a rich flavor that it actually got me tipsy!

Our first guesthouse experience in Longji was fantastic. The owner picked us up from the Dazhai parking lot, and I have to say, his driving skills were absolutely superb – it felt like he was driving us right up into the clouds! Since the guesthouse is located at the highest point, it was super convenient to get to the viewing platform, just a 5-minute walk away. We also had dinner at the guesthouse, and the freshly roasted bamboo rice was absolutely delicious. As a thoughtful gesture, they even gave us some Monk Fruit and shiitake mushrooms when we left. Finally, the owner personally dropped us off back at the parking lot. This guesthouse truly made our Longji trip an unforgettable experience.

After comparing several guesthouses, we ultimately chose this one, primarily for its prime location. Perched at the highest point of the terraced fields, every room directly faces the terraces, allowing guests to witness the sunrise right from their floor-to-ceiling windows. The guesthouse also boasts a spacious public terrace, perfect for capturing stunning photos. Secondly, the rooms are exceptionally new and modern, likely having just opened this year. They are very spacious and come equipped with numerous smart amenities, including smart toilets, voice-controlled speakers, thermostatic massage bathtubs, and even a washing machine with a drying function. As nearby restaurants are quite a distance away, we opted to dine at the guesthouse. While the prices were a bit higher (around 70 RMB per person), the food was unexpectedly delicious! They raise and grow their own chickens, ducks, fish, and vegetables. We savored freshly prepared free-range chicken and rice field fish, which were incredibly flavorful and had no hint of fishiness. One morning, we inquired about pumpkin shoots, which weren't on the menu, and the staff cheerfully said their mother would pick some in the afternoon. We had them that evening, and they were unbelievably tender. The guesthouse owner and staff were incredibly genuine and friendly. They were always eager to answer questions and accommodate requests, even upgrading us to their best room with a 270-degree panoramic view. We also enjoyed a complimentary rice field fish catching experience and free breakfast. A big thumbs up to the owner! Finally, is Longji Terraced Fields a Shenzhen assistance project? Apparently, Shenzhen residents get free admission, which explained why we encountered so many people from Shenzhen during our visit. The main activity here is enjoying the terraced fields from various viewpoints. In the evening, you can head to the viewing platform for a fireworks display. You can also visit Huangluo Yao Village to immerse yourself in local folk culture and enjoy the serene streams. While there aren't a vast number of attractions, the sheer beauty of the terraces alone makes it absolutely worth a visit. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this guesthouse for its exceptional value for money and the chance to take in all the breathtaking scenery!
