"Due to a travel delay, I unexpectedly had to change my plans and ended up staying at the Danxia Mingzhu Hotel. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, and all the facilities were quite new. There's a restaurant right on the first floor and even a night market with barbecue in the courtyard. If you don't feel like going out, the hotel has everything you need, which is super convenient. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk from the entrance of the Colorful Danxia scenic area, which is incredibly handy. If you're visiting Colorful Danxia, I highly recommend the Danxia Mingzhu Hotel! 👍👍👍"

The yurt was really spacious and comfortable, and the temperature inside is just right. Toilet and shower facilities very clean. Would recommend as the best place to anyone visiting Zhangye/ Danxia. It is also a great location for visiting nearby Alien mountains, Binggou Danxia park, and the Mati temple; the hotel also provides a driver service to these points at a great rate."

The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. To top it all off, the owner even prepared thoughtful departing gifts for us, which was such a warm and memorable touch. His kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is an outstanding choice."

"The rooms aren't huge, but they're clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning, however, is quite noisy. It's super convenient having the owner's restaurant downstairs for meals. I especially want to thank the owner: I booked four rooms but accidentally selected the wrong check-in date. By the time I noticed, it was past 11 PM and the free cancellation period had expired. After discussing it, the owner still held the rooms for us the next day, only charging a 200 RMB compensation fee."

"My trip to Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park was a complete disaster – I blindly chose the Shiguang Manji Hotel! The location is superb, just a 7-minute walk to the park entrance and a mere 2-minute drive. No need to rush to catch the sunrise or sunset, and the Danxia scenery is breathtaking after rain. It made traveling so much easier. The room was impeccably clean. Given the dry climate of Northwest China, a Xiaomi humidifier made the room much more comfortable. The mattress and pillows were Mengbaihe zero-pressure mattresses, providing ultimate relaxation and a good night's sleep after a long day. The entire room is equipped with Xiao Ai smart control, allowing you to control lights and temperature simply by voice – a truly high-tech experience. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful. Upon check-in, they offered authentic Gansu Sanpaotai tea and local seasonal apricots. They were warm and welcoming, patiently explaining the park's routes and tips for avoiding tourist pitfalls, and providing free shuttle service. The overall decor has a gentle and healing atmosphere, and the soft furnishings are very thoughtfully arranged. Although the hard furnishings in Northwest China are not extremely exquisite, all facilities are complete, full of details, and the service is sincere and attentive. It is a great value for money and the first choice when visiting Danxia. I will stay here again next time I come to Zhangye!"

"Our stay was great! First off, the location is fantastic, just 500 meters from the West Gate of the scenic area. The room facilities are complete and very new, and the bedding is comfortable. The family room is perfect for those with children; it's spacious and we had a wonderful night's sleep. The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful – they assisted us with our luggage and even helped dry our clothes. They also kindly offered us fruit. Basically, they were happy to help with anything we needed, which added a lovely warmth to our trip. Plus, breakfast was right outside the door."
