The hotel close to the north entrance of old town. Room is spacious and comfortable. They offered a great afternoon tea when we arrived. You can get a panoramic view from the rooftop deck. Sadly due to the rainy weather, we could not see the Jade Dragon mountain.

Absolutely book this hotel! The atmosphere is superb, and it's spotlessly clean. They have a charming rooftop garden where you can enjoy coffee, drinks, conversation, or afternoon tea while taking in breathtaking views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and overlooking the entire Lijiang Ancient City. Oh, and the owner is a really handsome guy! He's incredibly helpful with trip planning, recommending all the best local spots for food and fun that are both affordable and excellent value. He'll make sure you avoid all the tourist traps!

The room was newly renovated, very clean, and beautifully decorated—definitely not like some older, worn-out B&Bs. I absolutely loved the overall aesthetic, and it perfectly matched the photos online. The B&B owner was incredibly kind and helpful; they even assisted us in finding a mushroom foraging experience and shared tips on how to save money, which was a nice touch! The evening night view of the ancient city from our room was truly stunning. The rooftop cafe serves afternoon tea with panoramic views of the entire ancient town, and the ambiance was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The owner was incredibly hospitable. They even proactively called the day before to offer a pick-up service from the station and drove us directly to the guesthouse entrance. Its location right opposite Lijiang Old Town made exploring incredibly convenient. We were also treated to a complimentary afternoon tea – and as a dessert lover, I can confirm it was absolutely delicious! Upstairs, there's a rooftop viewing platform offering excellent views of the snow-capped mountains. The owner mentioned it's currently exclusive to guests, which I thought was a very thoughtful gesture given the limited space.

The location is just outside the North Gate of the old town, so you don't have to drag your luggage through the ancient streets. You can contact them in advance to reserve a parking space, which is incredibly important! The room type we booked offered lovely views of the old town. We arrived quite late, and the moment we opened the door, we were absolutely mesmerized by the stunning night view of the ancient city from our window. The rooftop terrace is perfect for enjoying a coffee, taking in the scenery, and snapping some beautiful photos – absolutely delightful! Disposable amenities were replenished promptly, and the service was very thoughtful. The mushroom hotpot recommended by the owner was both delicious and great value for money. What a fantastic Lijiang private hot spring guesthouse! We definitely picked the right place this time. Staying at this Lijiang guesthouse with our child was such a delightful surprise! The private hot spring in our room had the perfect water temperature; our child absolutely loved soaking in it and had a sound night's sleep afterward. It's conveniently located very close to the Old Town, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly easy to explore and find places to eat. The guesthouse itself was clean and well-maintained, with a refreshing scent of plants and wood in the air, creating a truly comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. For our two-night stay, shuttle service was included, so we didn't have to worry about transportation at all. The afternoon tea was also delightful, with fresh pastries and fragrant tea. Both our child and we were completely satisfied. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Lijiang!

The location is super convenient, right across from the Old Town. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and they're cleaned daily. The owner is an incredibly warm and welcoming host, truly a 'people person,' always enthusiastic and quick to respond to any needs. He's always happy to recommend fantastic local eateries nearby. The guesthouse is perfectly located, very easy to find, and right next to the ancient city. It's super convenient for visiting other attractions and commercial areas, yet it's surprisingly quiet, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively sent check-in details and local guides beforehand, providing us with so much helpful information, almost like having local friends. The attention to detail truly elevates the experience. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, and even the toiletries were stylish and high-quality. Location is good and close to amenities. Service staff was hospitalable and polite. There were some issues with one room but hotel staff was willing to help switch to a bigger room (with patio) at a nominal fee. Guests were provided a free welcome afternoon tea for each room which was a nice gesture. Cafe latte was really good at an affordable price and the cafe owner was friendly and nice. Overall experience was good and pleasant.

This was our first stay in Yunnan, and we didn’t expect there to be no lift — we were placed on the 4th floor, and with Lijiang’s high elevation, the climb was no joke. Thankfully, the staff helped carry our luggage up, which we really appreciated! The room was generally clean, though the bathtub and parts of the wall showed some wear with peeling paint. On the bright side, the location is pretty central and easy to reach by Didi, and their rooftop coffee bar has a lovely view. All in all, it was still a pleasant stay.

100/10 for the staff service, very friendly and helpful. The hotel located opposite the ancient town. We booked a tour around Lijiang from them and we had a great time. The room is clean and comfortable, they also provide an afternoon tea at the rooftop bar.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel. The location is not only beautiful but also perfectly convenient for exploring Lijiang Old Town. What makes the experience truly special is the kindness and generosity of the hosts, who welcome you with such warmth that you immediately feel part of the family. We had an unforgettable stay at Nell Hefengting Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from Mo Chen. Even before we arrived, he was already assisting us and continued to go above and beyond until the moment we left. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. Our room was on the fourth floor, accessible by stairs, and it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Mo Chen even carried our luggage up without hesitation. Anytime we had questions or needed assistance, he didn’t just reply to our messages—he would come up personally to help. His warmth and dedication were truly remarkable. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient. We are from Singapore and were pleased to find that halal food options were available nearby, making it easy for us to enjoy our meals. The hotel is also close to all the main attractions in Lijiang, making it easy to explore the area on foot. After a long walk, we returned to the hotel, and my wife, who wasn’t feeling well, was coughing. Mo Chen noticed and offered to make us Pu’er tea, which was unlimited and such a thoughtful gesture. His service is simply unmatched. Mo Chen made our stay incredibly special, and he is one of our best memories of Lijiang. We would return to this hotel not only for its cleanliness and convenient location but also for the exceptional service he provided. Truly one-of-a-kind!
