"We travel a lot, but we never met such unpleasant hotel owners. We came to the hotel and said hello, but nobody answered. There was one girl at reception, but she looked like she does not see us. After a few minutes came other women, say no hello, and just asked for the passports. We put them to the reception desk and wait. She did not take our ID cards, she set at the computer and solved another passports and let us wait without any word. We were tired and wanted to go to the room so we asked for the keys. She gave us a room on the 3rd floor so we asked if there is a lift, she said there can not be a lift because it is a historic building. I understand why there is no lift, but don't understand why they are not helpful to bring the luggage to the room. The room smelled of cigarettes, was dusty, non-functional light in the corridor, and an offline fridge with a warm sect :-). The door to the shower was only for small people. When we asked if they have a room with a shower where my partner "fit in", we get no answer. We went for a walk and when we came back to the hotel the owners waited for us and told us that if we don't like it they give us the money back and we can find another accommodation. It was around 22:30! I thought when she started to talk that she wants to offer us another room. It would be a nice hotel after some innovation but with different management."

"The best location in Levoca and with parking. It overlooks the beautiful main square but in front of the hotel is pedestrianised so it’s very quiet throughout the day and night. Staff were very welcoming and both dinner and breakfast were excellent."

"Nice hotel directly in the centre (main place) of Levoca. We were in a room on the 3rd floor in the back building area: Very quiet. Rooms very spacious, with a lounge, bathroom/wc spaciously separated, and spacious shelf room with minibar, two tables. Equipment as indicated, but there is no air conditioning - which, for a few weeks in the summer, is not a problem. The hotel is, as indicated, undergoed in an old building (or several combined) old buildings - thereby the room division is a little angled, various stages between, the reception is not at the entrance but in the 1st floor. Lift in the 1. There is a stock, but because of the construction situation, people who can't go well up (roller/rolling chairs) are not suitable. As in the restaurant with breakfast, even dinner was booked - in the same building. The food was very good, there was a menu as a map. Cofola is also offered as a drink. :-)"

"I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Likewise, a 10 minute walk from the city centre. My room was a decent size and more than adequate for my requirements. I was bed and breakfast and it was buffet service. The choice was ok but nothing special. Even so, there was enough to eat. There isn't a lot to do on Poprad. But, you can get to the Tatra Mountains, which I did. on the Electric Railway which starts above the main railway station. I also caught a local bus to Levoca. A journey of 40 minutes and what a beautiful place it us."

"With my family I spent 3 days in this hotel. Target was to find a good starting point to visit some sights in High Tatras and it was a good decision. The hotel is simple but really clean and spacious. Good point is the big enough parking area. Since we didn't drive during this period but walked (e.g. to the cable car to Skalnaté pleso, 5 minutes walk) and traveled by train (the station is also a 5 minutes walk) the location was high priority. Beside those we also liked the rooms, the good WiFi and the cleanliness. Above them the best were the staff (polite and professional receptionists, restaurant staff and the cleaning staff) and the breakfast: we liked the unusually wide selection."

"The hotel was beautiful, I was really surprised, the food was fantastic, I have probably never eaten better fish, there were also tourists from abroad, the hotel staff was very pleasant and kind and overall I rate this hotel very positively and I definitely recommend it to everyone to stop there."

"Good base in the Tatra mountains We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at the hotel, full of comfort, good food and relaxation. The hotel is located at the foothills of the Tatras mountains, fantastic location for hiking and enjoying the beautiful scenery. You can walk to the nearby town of Tatranska Lomnica through the forest in about 20-30 minutes. The Tatra electric railway (TEŽ) station Stara Lesna is a 16 minute walk from the hotel and you can access all the stops along the Skalnate Pleso lift stations for just €4 for a 24 hour pass. Rooms are small, but comfortable, we had a beautiful view of the mountains (ask for a Mountain View on check-in) Nice bathrooms and the spa is definitely the highlight along with the VIP Sky lounge although this is an extra fee. The wellness opening hours worked for us as we were out all day then could enjoy the spa in the evening but in the summer you may struggle to use the facilities. Onto a very big positive.....we enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast and dinners and the quality of the food was excellent. Some great choices and food selection for people with dietary requirements. Staff were all so nice and helpful. Overall a great hotel, however small details that could make it better: such as internet availability. The wifi always disconnects and you needed to keep opening a browser and log in again and again. The coffee at breakfast could be a lot better, maybe some hot milk could be available for the machine use. Also opening hours of wellness centre could be better as you don't have much time to use it if you're on trip during the day, using the pool first thing would be great and longer onto the evening. We loved it :) thank you x"
