I discovered a magical B&B in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village—Suyan Lishang B&B. Not only is the environment beautiful, but the service is also top-notch! The housekeeper contacted me in advance to confirm my itinerary, followed me all the way, and provided guidance to the property. The air conditioning was turned on in advance, even though the weather was hot. They also served afternoon tea, which was delicious and beautifully presented—perfect for photos. The floor-to-ceiling windows in my room overlooked the Miao village. At night, with thousands of lights shining through, it felt like the Milky Way was right before my eyes. During the day, lying in bed or in the bathtub, I could watch the stacked stilt houses awaken in the mist.
