"The location is quite convenient, about a 15-minute drive from the Old Quarter. The room itself was good, and we had a comfortable stay overall.
However, it could benefit from more thorough deep cleaning, as we noticed some dust accumulation in certain corners. We also found a pack of contraceptives, which appeared to have been left behind by previous guests, so we chose not to touch it.
Additionally, it would be better to install a frosted glass sticker or some form of covering on the bathroom window, as it is currently exposed and visible from nearby buildings.
Despite these issues, we had a pleasant experience and would still consider it a good stay overall."

"Getting around is super convenient. You can take the E10 bus from Noi Bai Airport T2 to TTYT Hang Khong (if you're not good with maps, just tell the driver the name of the stop). It only takes 45 minutes and costs 20,000 VND. The homestay has a really chill balcony, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the host is very friendly."

"Cozy, very clean and neat. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Right next door was amazing steak house. Several small convenience markets within 2/3 minutes. Plenty of local food places, across the street from a large hospital and 1 block from park and workout park. Great place to rest, hangout and enjoy local Hanoi life."

AAnonymous User1. The location is excellent, right next to Hoan Kiem Lake, making it very convenient to visit all the famous attractions.
2. The service is a major highlight; it's simply superb. They offer personalized, one-on-one service, and the front desk staff even escorts you to your room. They are very enthusiastic and have excellent English skills. There's also a male staff member who speaks Chinese.
3. The downside is that the rooms are a bit narrower compared to those in China, which seems to be a common characteristic of hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Surprisingly, the two bottles of mineral water in the room were chargeable, which is something they could definitely improve.

GGuest UserExcellent customer service from the staff. The location was prime and close to everything. Two minute walk away from the lake. 
I had book for the deluxe room for the first two days they put me in a smaller room and then they said they were gonna upgrade me. Not sure if it was an upgrade or downgrade. The photos on the website showed that it was a stand in shower but the first two days I had a tub shower. Shower had a tiny bit of mold but this is nitpicking. 
Other than the shower issue, everything went well. The staff is ultra friendly. Very nice, care about you. They know you by name and room number so it shows that they’re very tentative . I definitely would recommend this hotel to anybody. 
On the last note, the hotel that offered to book me a taxi to the airport, initially they quoted me 400,000 but I said grab was cheaper and then they quoted me 230,000 with discount. I couldn’t help me disappointed that I got quoted at the higher price first instead of just automatically giving me the discount. It would’ve definitely gave me a better impression. 
I’m not sure if it was the language barrier and they did offer the discount, because I’m from South Vietnam and the dialect is different in the north. I just hope I’m wrong.

HHanjiangyuThe front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is a big plus. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the facilities here are quite comprehensive and well-maintained. I also appreciate that rooms with balconies allow smoking. Overall, it's great value for money. I spent about a week in Hanoi, staying at various places, and this is by far the best value hotel I found. I usually don't leave reviews, but I was really comfortable here and wanted to recommend it.

IIvonnieOMG, i feel like this hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed so far. I need to shout out to especially the staff, omg, they are so friendly and the best. They can speak proper English and very helpful. They are just one text or call away whenever you need help. My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights at the family room. The room is a bit smaller than I expected but it is very clean and has all the necessary things for your trip. The brekfast is nice as well. I am personally grateful to Jimmy, Tam and John for all the help. When I come back to Hanoi, this is gonna be the place I will be staying again.

Service:
1. The front desk receptionist, Nga, is helpful, patient, and polite. She is always cheerful and attentive, even while handling calls and assisting other guests. She addressed my concerns clearly, answered all my questions, and is very pleasant to communicate with.
2. Breakfast buffet: staff is always on their feet. I see there’s two main servers, sometimes a third one. They’re very focused but it’s also because they have a lot of tasks - prep, cook, clean, replenish and clear all the dining tables. The tables are not always wiped down, but if you ask, they will address it immediately. Two weeks in, they hired a fourth server which was nice because tables were cleared and cleaned faster. There were a variety of food options with a few soup dishes that rotated each day. They serve mainly carbs and didn’t have many vegetarian options and not a lot of protein in general. They had breakfast chits that we would have to collect from the front desk each day and hand-in to the breakfast staff, they’re very on top of collecting the chits.
3. Room service: We never ordered food to the room. For a few nights, we did order dinner (rice, meat and a veggie dish). They can make anything you ask for either for lunch or dinner. If you don’t feel like going out, their cooking is quite tasty. We’d asked for new towels daily, our 2 water bottles, toilet paper and to empty our garage. We would ask to change or bedding every few days.
4. Rooms 614/615: 614 is the superior twin room and 615 is the superior queen room. My mom stayed in room 614 and my husband stayed in room 615 while I went back and forth. Furniture and flooring was exactly like in the photo online. Both rooms had working air conditioner and a ceiling fan and working mini fridge. TV in the rooms were not a SMART TV but we didn’t mind. The room cost the same although I don’t think room 615 is as nice as 614 since the washroom in 615 felt a bit older (the trimming had more mold and ceiling height was low). My husband who is 5 feet 8 inches (172 cm) would need to bow down to wash his head. Toilets flushed well in both rooms and water pressure was strong. There were tiny ants in both washroom floors and counters but it is Vietnam, we accepted it. Since it was not filled with them, it was not a concern. Beddings and towels are OKAY (meaning it was a pass for us) Some had light stains and tiny rips but it didn’t feel disgusting.
5. Cost: It was about $36 CAD after fees and taxes for each room, I booked a few nights online and a few nights in person which worked out to be around the same price after the conversion. Depending on the website promo, you may be able to get a better price per night online.
6. Location: calling for a taxi, grab, xanh sm takes a tiny bit of time because they’re on a one way street. But it’s walking distance to a park which is great!
Overall rating 3.7, I would say it is like a Best Western hotels/suites in Canada. Service and staff 4 star, building and rooms 3.5 star.
According to google, they are a 3 star hotel and I would agree. I would recommend a couple and family to stay. And I would return.

The first thing is I assumed that because it’s close it’ll be really easy to get there after arrival, but actually taxi drivers don’t want to go there because for them is better to get more money from the trip to the city center then driving you for five min to this hotel. Then after finally arriving the staff that will meet you won’t have any hint of a smile on their face and will treat you like you’ve pissed them off only with your disturbance of their peace, the morning shift by the way was exactly the same. The room itself was ok, just as I assumed by the pictures but with the closer look you can see that lots of breakage and damaged stuff in the room

1/ Overbooking situation - cancellation the day before landing
My friend and I booked two separate rooms to stay at this hotel, the day before the check in, my friend's booking got cancelled by the hotel without information. We had contacted the hotel several times in vain, then it was confirmed that they have overbooked the hotel which caused to trouble to start with our holiday.
Hotel Director of sales M. Victor N. did replied by email on the checking day 18/4 few hours before that ”we don't know the fact. You can make your reservation on our website now.” The remaining option on 18/4 morning was a ”suite” 14 times higher rate than our initial booking...
Therefore once arrived at Hanoi, we wanted to get a refund of my remaining booking but the hotel reception lady Mrs Ruby was not helpful at first and rude towards us. Her non hospitality professionalism and communication led us feel very unwelcomed (no smile, no thank you, speaking vietnamese with her colleague in front of us). May need to review if she really should stay at the reception as this is client facing interaction and should be solution driven.
She strictly insisted that she doesn't know why we only got one room left and my booking was non refundable even tough they did cancelled my friend's one few hours ago. After negotiation, she kept saying as it is non refundable, either we stay, either we book another room.
At that moment, there was an another room not the Suite one that just got available ”King room” and if we could pay the price difference which is higher than our initial paid booking and need to stay together in the same room.
As we just started the holidays and to not loose the money that we could not get refunded, we paid the difference to change to that room. We paid in cash to get that room.
We thought that was going to be just one off issue/misunderstanding and could start our holidays.
Note: If you pay in credit card they will charge 3% additional. The exchange rate is more convenient to change at jewelry gold shop in Hàng Bac street (5 mins walk), the rate at the hotel is too high, don't change there.
2/ Cleanliness
As we got this better king's room with window, we were expecting that to be at least clean and suitable for 2 pax.
The bed sheets and cushions were yellowish, the floor was not vacuum (dead bees staying there whole stay), the slippers are dirty, the wall is stained and some unfinished renovation. The worst is the shower/bathtub, once you shower, it will flood to the room, we had to put towels to absorb the water in the room.
You have to ask for towels if they clean your room as they will forget.
3/ Breakfast
Be aware that it is from 6:30am to 9:30am, the breakfast is correct as a mini buffet
Overall this hotel is average, the positive points are the location and the other gentleman receptionist allowing us to have a ”late check out” at noon instead of 11am, as if after noon they will charge one night more.
The hotel should stop with overbooking rooms that will cause unnecessary stress situation for everyone and need to be renovated.
To be honest, you can have much more great options nearby, CLEAN and with great hospitality service. As part of holidays and for a decent price, just book another hotel to avoid negative start for your holidays.

DDawei 007What a perfect little place to stay if you have a late arriving flight or a very early morning one. I found the staff here extremely friendly and they used Google translate to communicate. The room was immaculate and offered fantastic value. They offer breakfast at an additional charge , very reasonable and their iced coffee is superb, highly recommend. An ideal place to stay for a night.
