Overall, this stay offered decent value for money, but the hotel definitely has its pros and cons. 👍 The biggest advantage is the excellent location, right next to Phu Quoc Night Market, just a 1-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for grabbing food and shopping in the evenings. There are also plenty of massage parlors and restaurants nearby, making it a very convenient spot. Regarding the room: It was generally simple and clean. The air conditioning was powerful enough, and the bed was comfortable. It met basic accommodation needs, and it's fine for a short stay. However, the downsides were also quite noticeable: * The room felt a bit dated overall, and the furnishings showed signs of wear and tear. * The space was small; it would feel cramped with a lot of luggage. * The cleanliness in some rooms was inconsistent. * The bathroom drainage wasn't very good, and there was occasionally a slight odor (this was a significant drawback). * Because it's close to the night market, it could get a bit noisy at night. 👉 Overall Rating: ✔ Extremely convenient location (biggest advantage) ✔ Affordable, suitable for budget travelers ❗ Room for improvement in facilities and details If you're just visiting, spending most of your day out, and only coming back to rest at night, this place is acceptable. 👍 However, if you're more particular about accommodation quality or environmental odors, you might want to consider other options.

A very good hotel right in Duong Duing night market. Value for money and easy access.

Pros: There is bellman service available to help us take care of our luggages when we arrived before check-in time, so we could go for lunch without our heavy baggages. Even though we rejected the enthusiastic bellman who offer to bring our luggages to our rooms, as we were not used to it, he continued to serve us graciously when we were lost (since the room numbers all starts with 1 followed by the storey). Located next to the sea with a shallow beach, Seashells is a prime location for beach swimming and kayaking. Safety signs were in placed and blow dryers were installed to prevent slipping at the ground floor. Restaurant serves delicious breakfast. Cons: We didn't receive a welcome drink that was supposed to be part of the hotel's check-in experience. The check-in timing is 3pm, unlike most other hotels that offers early check-in, this hotel doesn't. Generally, Seashells is a great stay and deserves its 5 stars rating for its location, cleanliness and facilities. Safety is a bonus point, given that lift access requires a room card. Although we did not have the opportunity to experience the sauna and steam bath, there were many options in the vicinity.

Overall, I liked the hotel. The sunsets were amazing, and the room was cleaned daily and very tidy. It was spacious and bright. I'd definitely go back, but there are a few 'buts'... There's no proper desk and chair, not even one. Our room didn't have a single chair, though I saw other rooms did. I would have extended my stay if there was a desk, as it's hard to work without one. There were also issues with the water. I only had truly hot water once during my 7-day stay; the rest of the time it was just lukewarm. It wasn't critical, but sometimes you just want a really hot shower. One evening, around 8 PM, both hot and cold water were completely shut off. The guy at reception spun a tale, claiming there was no water on the entire island of Phu Quoc and he had no idea when it would be back. Yet, the hotel across the street clearly had water. He just lied, basically. Luckily, the water came back in the morning, otherwise, you couldn't even use the toilet or shower.

I booked the hotel twice because I didn't plan to stay there for long, but it's so cozy that I stayed there twice. There's a cool chair on the first floor (pictured), it's comfortable to sit and relax sometimes. The plumbing and bed linen are in good condition. The soundproofing could be better.

The pool was well-maintained with crystal clear water. The staff were attentive and always ready to help. This is the ideal place for a vacation, I will definitely come back.

For this price, you can't really complain about a studio apartment. I brought my own disposable bedding set. As long as I could sleep, it was worth the money. However, there was no hot water for a shower in the morning, though the water was good in the evening. I contacted the owner and waited over ten minutes in the bathroom, but still no hot water. If you like to shower at night and wash your hair in the morning, you'll need to adjust your routine. The owner is very nice and communicates well in Chinese. I recommend this place for solo travelers looking to save money. It's right next to the night market, with plenty of food options around, and there's also a direct airport bus nearby.

This time, I was on the sixth floor with a great view, and the room cleanliness keeps getting better. It's been fully booked a lot this year, so it's hard to get a reservation.

When I checked out on the 13th, a male and female staff member at the front desk asked me to write a good review and even wrote their names on my luggage tag for the storage. I told them I'd write it later, but then I forgot where I put the names. After I stored my luggage, I walked to Miss at Phu Quoc Night Market for a massage, then came back to the hotel to pick up my bags.

Not far from Yangdong Night Market, just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel room was clean, tidy, and a good size, with a view of the sea. Breakfast on the 7th floor the next day had a nice ambiance and a good variety of food. The price was reasonable, offering good value for money.
