"Overall, the hotel is really great! 👍🏻 It has a stunning river view and a beautiful rooftop bar where they also serve the breakfast buffet. There's no laundry or fitness center (though I recall seeing a gym in some videos/photos). The staff is super! 👍🏻😊 The main downside for us was the open-plan toilet in the room 🫣😅. If you're staying as a couple, everything from the toilet is audible (all the poops and farts) 🫣😅. This was our biggest issue, even though we're married! 😅 P.S. Also, the headboard of the bed was very dirty (the tissues in the photo are from when I wiped it myself 🫣). Generally, the room's cleanliness was average. They provide reusable slippers (but I guess that's common in all hotels in Vietnam, even in 4-star ones). We recommend this hotel if the open-plan toilet doesn't bother you! 🙌🏻 But we'd only return if they make the toilet private :)"

"My recent business trip to Vietnam included a stay at the Hanting Hotel Ho Chi Minh City Center, and it far exceeded my expectations! The lobby is modern and inviting, and the front desk staff were warm and efficient. Check-in was smooth, and they thoughtfully provided information about the surrounding area. The guest room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and an excellent city view from the window. It was well-equipped with amenities like a smart TV, a desk, and chairs. The bathroom featured a thoughtful wet-dry separation. The geometric carpet in the hallway was both aesthetically pleasing and noise-reducing, and the security measures made me feel safe. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel perfectly blends international standards with local comfort and offers exceptional value for money. It will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City!"

"Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, my husband, our 12-year-old son, and I checked into a small guesthouse in the city center, but it was located in a typical Vietnamese alley (I could walk there with my eyes closed – I really don't like their narrow, somewhat dirty alleyways 😩). After a few days, we moved into these apartments and haven't regretted it once 🔥! We loved both the high-rise building itself and the apartment, where we could cook all our own meals, as Vietnamese food really doesn't suit us at all… Everything in the apartment is designed for tourist comfort 🔥. There's a beautiful glass partition separating the bedroom from the kitchen-living room. The bathroom has a proper partition, so water doesn't flood the toilet 🔥! The kitchen table is optimally large. There's plenty of everything for cooking. The knives are excellent; they cut meat wonderfully! The refrigerator is a good size – everything fit. Overall, as picky as I am, my family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing is that the windows face the street, and there's a constant hum from motorbikes and cars around the clock. Earplugs help. Also, a drying rack is missing. We hope the owner heard us 😊 and that future guests will be provided with one. Apartment number 04.35 - 4th floor."

"First of all, the best thing was that I was able to contact the host immediately (via Trip.com Messenger, WhatsApp, or Weixin), even though I booked on the same day. In the past, I had an experience in another region where I booked just a day in advance, but the host dragged their feet until the cancellation deadline, resulting in the reservation being cancelled or no contact at all, which made me anxious. I was glad that wasn't the case here. I have stayed in accommodations near famous streets, but since I generally prefer apartment-style Airbnbs, this place was better. There is a local shopping district nearby where you can discover hidden restaurants, and it is convenient to have a convenience store downstairs. The facilities do show some signs of age, and you can just overlook the floor plan a bit. Aside from having to wait a while if you get the wrong elevator for luggage (apparently, you must use this one exclusively), it is good."

"Value for money, good location with great amenities just dowstairs (convenience store, pharmacy, and cafe). Suggestion for improvement: replace the bathroom light. Currently it's using a movement censor which auto turned off if no detection within 1 min. It can be quite annoying while showering then suddenly the light is off."

"Firstly, I'll state that had a good stay at this Hotel :) Let's start with the bad, and then finish with the good. Was some of the paint peeling off the walls? Yes. Did the refrigerator smell like durian? Yes (only the fridge). Is the decor giving 1970s depression? Yeah, kinda. Is the hotel well-insulated for sound? No. Did the shower have a bit of mould? Yes. HOWEVER, the bed, mattress, and sheets were very clean, smelled clean and the sheets were bright white. The room smelled clean, the toilet was clean, bathroom counter and sink were clean, floor was clean, and the AC unit was clean and with no dust (often an overlooked detail). Also, the staff were lovely, gave helpful advice, can store luggage for you, and there is a safe (it's not nailed down, but there is one nonetheless). I had a room with no window, so I did not hear any street noises, and for sleeping the room was pitch black (a plus for me). Admittedly, the hotel has very thin walls, but I brought my loop earplugs and was able to sleep without issue; I heard noises from guests only on 1 night out of four and they were not that loud --I still slept fine. Value for money was great :D"

"My family and I stayed at Jessica’s soho apartment for 4 nights. The check in was flawless. Jessica’s assistant showed us in and explained how to open the digital lock. The apartment was cozy, clean and well equipped with plates, cutlerys, glasses and cups. Has a small cooker, microwave and an electric kettle. And a plus was providing us 5 litre bottle of drinking water with a faucet. The bed was comfortable and we rested well. The shower was excellent with strong water pressure. The air-con worked well and kept us comfortable. The view of the city from a small balcony was a plus. They were very responsive and helped us with booking a driver to take us around the city for sightseeing. Overall, a super host and a superb apartment to rent if you have a family. And superaffordable!!"

"We stayed at this hotel for one night just to rest, and it was perfectly fine for that purpose. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the reception is available 24/7, which is very convenient if you arrive late or need assistance at any time. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around. Overall, it’s a good option if you need a simple place to stay overnight."

"The renovated property looks very boutique and is arguably the nicest in the area. The room is well-equipped with many new furnishings. The bed is very comfortable and soft. The staff are lovely and polite. A special note: since it's in the Bui Vien area, the music is a bit loud at night, lasting until almost 1 AM."
