This is an excellent beachfront hotel with a fantastic panoramic pool. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. The interior of the hotel also looks beautiful and contemporary. They offer free shuttle services to and from the airport. The breakfast selection is quite varied and tasty, though there's a limited choice of desserts and vegan options.
The pool water is quite cool. There aren't many sun loungers by the pool, which can sometimes be an issue, but large cushion-mattresses are available.
They have strict check-in and check-out times. We arrived at the hotel from the airport at 1:15 PM and were asked to wait until 2:00 PM, the official check-in time. We also requested a two-hour late check-out on our departure day to avoid leaving too early before our shuttle, but were told it wasn't possible. This might be due to the hotel's high occupancy.

We stayed at Con Dao house for 5 nights and we had a very pleasant experience!
The room was clean and modern and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful!
There are places to sit in the common area too which is nice if you come with friends and you need somewhere to sit together.
Although breakfast isn’t included, there are many shops nearby to try different foods so it isn’t a problem!
You can rent electric bikes or normal bikes if you need too! Definitely recommend this place!
They also have a shuttle service which is very good!

The hotel is located near the pier. To the beach go about 10 minutes. For the previous settlement (8 a.m.) took a quite democratic fee in the amount of 300000VND. The room was on the 4th floor. Water, tea, coffee were filled daily. Cleaning can also be ordered daily. Beach towels do not provide. There are many cafes and restaurants with seafood nearby. But finding traditional Fo Bo turned out to be a problem) There are ATMs, a market, a big supermarket within a kilometre radius.
The beach is beautiful, with white sand, but it looks a little irregular. Also were bitten by beach mosquitoes. Be careful not to lie on the sand, especially wet. If you still bite, I recommend the bite place to lip 3-4 once a day with the lip on the photo

AAnonymous UserIt is a very comfortable and quiet place to relax as it is 10 minutes from the airport and has a clean and independent beach.
It is 12km from the city center, so you have to take a shuttle or taxi to other places. There is a well-organized war museum and prison ruins, so you can feel the significance of Con Dao Island in the history of Vietnamese independence. You can also see the history of Paolo. There are seafood restaurants, market mart ATMs, etc., and you have to use cash.
Paolo's staff is very friendly and the service is excellent in all aspects. However, the shower room door and locking device connected to the outside need to be fixed.
The outdoor private pool water is clean and there is a little shade from the trees, so it was good for the whole family to spend time. The restaurant menu, location, surrounding scenery, and home service were good, but the juice type is not recommended.
I recommend it as a good place to visit for relaxation.

GGiulio81The most important thing about this place , it s the cleanliness. Room is really spacious, comfortable, and cleaned every day. Even better than the pictures actually The hotel is a bit out of the town, but personally I like it, it is just 5 minutes by motorbike which you can rent directly there. Some of the staff speak some English, but anyway, they are really kind and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast, but looked decent. I ended up staying many more days and don't regret at all. There is a nice common area with tables in a garden, very relaxing.

SSurewin27We booked this hotel and since I’m relatively new to the platform, I reached out to the property via whatsapp before arrival to confirm the booking. From pre-arrival through our five-night stay, the experience was excellent.
The owners, Linh and her husband, Lan, were incredibly supportive, responsive, and resourceful throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made the experience special.
We stayed in room 306 w/a mountain view. The view is lovely, though the room faces west and can get quite hot in the afternoon. That said, the blackout curtains helped. Housekeeping is provided daily like at 8 am which may be noticeable if you’re not an early riser, but they consistently replenish towels, coffee, and tea as needed.
The hotel itself is quite new (around three years old) and has thoughtful details throughout—branded slippers and water bottles, a mini chill fridge with drinks, and ice available upon request. Water pressure was good, and Wi-Fi worked most of the time without issues.
The front desk staff were helpful, and the hotel offers motorcycle and moped rentals. Since we didn’t have an international driver’s license, we rented a scooter for 150K VND per day. All transactions were cash-based. They also arranged airport pickup and drop-off for 50K VND per person each way, which was very convenient.
Breakfast is available, either buffet or à la carte depending on occupancy. We’re not morning people, so we didn’t try it ourselves, but other guests shared positive feedback.
The location is excellent—about a two-minute walk to the beach and very walkable overall.
At the end of our stay, the owners surprised us with a thoughtful gift, which we will always cherish. A heartfelt thank you to Linh and Lan for making our stay so enjoyable.
One note for future guests: there are several cats on the property, so if you have cat allergies, it’s something to be aware of.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent - only a 3-minute walk to the beach, and the town is quite compact. Most restaurants and cafes are within a 5-20 minute walk (20 minutes being the furthest one we visited).
The room was clean and tidy, with a large double bed. Despite being across from a seafood restaurant that played loud music in the evenings, it was surprisingly quiet inside the room - a big plus!
There were a few downsides, though. The water pressure in the bathroom was quite weak, and there was an occasional (but not strong) smell of sewage. Our room didn’t have a balcony, which meant there was nowhere to hang wet clothes - they didn’t dry properly overnight. However, when we mentioned this to the staff, they kindly brought us extra chairs to help with drying. Still, our towels didn’t dry completely and had a slight smell the next day - so I’d recommend bringing your own if you’re sensitive to that.
Another minor issue: the elevator beeps loudly at every floor, and the sound can be heard in the rooms. You can also hear other guests in the hallway through the room door.
That said, the staff were very friendly and always tried their best to help. You can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel, and there’s a basic first-aid kit available at the reception, which is a nice touch.

But, there was only the double bed in the double room which was slightly too small for a couple travelling with just hand luggage. There was an additional chair and a mini desk, but not great for working. We were tripping over our things. The low score for amenities was because there was no where to sit outside of the room. There was a neglected rooftop, which has a great view, but no chairs in reception or anywhere else. There was one chair in the room, so as a couple, we were always sat on or sleeping in the bed. It felt that if there was one less room on each side on each floor, the rooms would be big enough to be comfortable. The fire escape stairs were not very safe looking with large gaps and what seemed like one missing on each stairway. We did enjoy our stay there but had to find somewhere with a bit more space so that we could feel like we weren't in bed all the time. As a sign ngle traveller the room would have been suitable. The extractor in the bathroom was also very loud and so, it would disturb one or the other if we were sleeping and the other person used the bathroom.
The staff were very nice.

GGuest UserThe Marina Bay Hotel staff were polite, friendly and actively supported us to have a comfortable stay. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily, with ample replenished water and tea for the room. The only area for further improvements would be around dietary needs, which would include the buffet breakfast having signs on it for what has and has not got meat in it as one of us was vegetarian. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable and comfortable.

GGuest UserBeware as Con Dao beaches are infested with SAND FLIES. it's really disturbing. Itchy for several days. Hope I won't get illnesses that sand flies can transmit on the skin, or even inside organs of the body. I had to escape from Con Dao. Pity because it's a beautiful place with very friendly people.
About hotel, it's Very nice hotel. But had to pay Instant coffee bag Wich is usually free in any other hotel. I stayed only one night then moved. Escaped Con Dao After 3 days

DDavid MosherOrson Hotel & Resort was a wonderful relaxing vacation for my wife and I. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach. The room was very clean and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the New Year’s party with an amazing seafood buffet and BBQ. The location is perfect to be away from the business of the town, but close enough to enjoy the views of a scooter ride into town. I really would like to give 5 stars to the service because, Nic was amazing and the staff were so kind and friendly. The only reason I put 4 stars for service is because of the room location on the 2nd floor. We paid for a deluxe sea view room and we could barely see the ocean through the trees. I requested to be moved at some point during our 6 nights stay and they didn’t accommodate this request. Otherwise, this was a wonderful experience.
