"The guy at the reception desk was rude. I needed to check in. I waited for a while for him to chitchat with the people in front of me. He clearly saw me but was ignoring me. It’s great that the guy was telling the people where to visit and wanting to write down a list for them. And the people asking 100 questions. But that part could have waited. I finally walked up to the counter. He asked if I had a question rudely. No, I didn’t, I needed to check in and I had somewhere to go. He finally helped me, not friendly at all with me. I did ask about the parking situation, he mentioned street parking or valet parking. I didn’t ask for valet parking but was charged a valet parking fee. (I did get this fixed the next day)"
"Our hotel stay was generally great. All employees were kind and helpful. Breakfast was varied and appreciated. The only issue was not having enough elevators running during busy times of the day."
"The hotel is very friendly and very friendly.
The room was very clean.
Lobby super beau et vintage.
I asked for a quiet room and I had a very good sleep.
Common spaces at top."
"The room is good, in the city center, the environment is elegant, the transportation is convenient, close to the art museum and museum, but although the breakfast is free, it is lackluster. Recommended"
"The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the exhibition center. Everything is good except that there are no slippers and water. The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows is beautiful (the windows cannot be opened). The toilets and room types are good, and the service is also very good."
"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was great. Everything we needed was in walking distance for us. Target wasn’t too far, close enough to walk. Right across from the Pavilion Mall. Area didn’t seem bad at all while we were there. We went for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and the walk was about 5 minutes. Super quick. My only complaint was that there is not a microwave in the room. There is a fridge though. Parking was expensive so I used the Spot Hero app and parked in the parking garage right behind the hotel. Literally a 2 minute walk or less. It was under $30 to park Friday through Monday. But read the terms if you decide to do that. You basically can’t go in and out if you park there. It’s just park and leave your car there until your done with your stay and leave. Rooms were clean and the view wasn’t great but decent. No indoor pool but there’s a rooftop pool that’s open seasonally. So not during the cold months. Overall it was a nice stay."
"Nice hotel, but a bit dated in the rooms. My carpet had a big wet spot when I got to room, that was weird. No spot above in ceiling, not sure what it was from. Housekeeping neglected to come the first day but they did come the second day at 8:30am. Knocked once - literally once - and then just opened the door themselves as I was on my way to open the door. Really frustrating to just let herself in with only one knock. Waited about 10 seconds, if that. I did let the front desk know when I checked out. Balcony could use a little more updated furniture, as well. Room is big!
Isaiah and Priya (sp??) at front desk were amazing when I checked in."
"For your information, I had a suite on the top floor, and as soon as I arrived I took the trouble to tell them that speaking in English was not easy for me and that it was not my original language. And jusye WOW I loved my stay with them.
I have no negative points, very comfortable, the bed like the sofa, lots of space, the internet works really well, for the shower for me the water pressure is high and I was not disappointed, because the pressure of the water jet was perfect (not too strong, nor too weak), very good soundproofing, I heard nothing, I even managed to sleep like a baby, the staff was super nice, friendly, and they Helped me find the cheapest route back to the airport and even showed me where the nearest goal stop was. They were all very helpful.
As for lunch, WOW!!! 1st thing I noticed is that in other places they don't do this kind of service, a super nice person comes to pick up your plate when it's empty, every morning there was a little something that changed so you don't always eat the same thing, there are of course certain things that remain normal and what's more, they were the most popular, I loved being able to make waffles every morning, there were a lot but really a lot of choice.
Do not hesitate to choose this hotel for my part if I have to return to Denver I would use this hotel again.
Ps.: sorry for the photos being a little blurry, I took a video but I couldn't find how to send my video so I took screenshoots of my video so that you can see what happens next."
"I booked this room with excitement for the interesting pop culture experience. I will give some grace because I understand there is a bit of a labor shortage, and they comped the parking because of the limited availability.
The room was cute, but I am not certain some stickers and pictures on the wall, and a cart with some throw back dishes constitute for double the cost. When booking for the themed room, most the other rooms show case snacks in the room that match the theme, and maybe a game in the corner. But I gave it a try for a night. Then down to the martini bar. It was cute. But the one bar tender complaining how the shift sucked the whole time. Made me glad I brought a drink or two in a cooler and had it in the room.
The ups- well lit and cute concept, front desk staff sort of tried (they are very busy). Central downtown location.
The downs- over promise for the hype, crazy weird temperatures in bathroom scalding or freezing accompanied with a scary sound. "

Great
CCorey SaylesI had been staying downtown for a while, but due to the expensive parking and daily city life, I needed a break. Atwell Suites seemed like the perfect fit. It’s located away from the city, close to the airport, and has a modern design. The lobby offers great seating options for working or relaxing, along with amenities that some pricier hotels lack. The price per night was also very reasonable, which was a significant deciding factor. I ended up becoming an IHG member, extending my stay, and booking an extra night. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
DDustin PaulThe hotel has an immaculate lobby and friendly staff. The room was clean with typical amenities expected. They have a very large fitness facility with a good selection of equipment. There is no pool or free breakfast, but this hotel met everything I needed. I was very pleased.
FFashion_PotatoI stayed at the Westin the night before my flight because I didn't want to panic about getting to the airport on time. I'd heard Westin is good quality and the location really is so convenient so I splurged. I kind of wish I hadn't. The room was very basic. The shower was nice, but there was nothing about my stay that made me think ”worth every penny!” Especially since they charge for internet.
Good things: the staff are delightful although they definitely seemed understaffed and a bit stressed. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's AT the airport and so easy to navigate! I asked for some extra water and they brought a lot. The room service food was so good.
Meh things: the carpet made me super glad I brought my own slippers. It didn't seem dirty, but something about carpeted hotel rooms are kind of icky. The coffee cups were all paper and I just felt like I was making a lot of trash when all I wanted was evening tea and morning coffee.
Boo things: not even an hour of free wifi? Just straight up ”pay 18 extra dollars on top of the hundreds for a basic room so you can tell your family you arrived ok and make sure you know where to go at the airport tomorrow.” I don't know, I'm not a business guy but it felt very cheap and petty.
BByueung Gyu HanThere are lots of dust in front of their air conditioner in my room. I turned off right away because I have allergies for dust. It was outdated but their bed was still very comfortable.
YYinzhihuThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I arrived after 11 AM and, after showing my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status, they waived the early check-in fee and even upgraded me to a suite. The room was incredibly spacious with fantastic city views. The only downside was that my room on the second floor faced the street, and there were noisy motorcycles revving on the weekend nights. The nearby train was also quite loud, and it didn't quiet down until midnight.
SSarah B85The staff were super nice and helpful, rooms were clean and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Our biggest complaint is the giant see-through window in the shower that anyone in the bedroom could pretty much see you naked, that frosted glass was not blocking anything out. Probably fine if you’re in the room alone or with a partner, but if you maybe have friends for acquaintances stop by while you’re still getting ready or if you share a room with your kid… It’s just kind of weird. There also was not an exhaust fan in the bathroom, which I think was needed. Also water from the shower door soaked the ground every time, but that’s pretty common in most hotel rooms with a glass door. It also would’ve been nice to have had more than two towels in the room.
I will still stay here again because I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the location was perfect for what I needed.
GGuest UserGreat location and amenities for kids - pool and great playground. Overall, great place to stay especially with kids. However the beds are extremely uncomfortable and no one in my family got good sleep. Bed extremely firm and lumpy, pillows way too soft. Also, we used the parking garage which was very convenient the second night. It would have been nice to know that street parking is extremely limited, so paying for parking is kind of a must. It also would have been a nice touch in the parking instructions to mention looking for the “reserved for Kasa” parking spaces on the first level to the right. It’s not completely obvious and we ended up parking in a random spot and then later saw the signage. The parking instructions only stated to enter the garage and make sure to hang the parking pass visible- not that there were designated spots.
AAnonymous UserFantastic place. Went to Denver for a conference. This hotel downtown was very close to the venue. Clean and spacious room. Really nice staff. They also stored my luggage before checking in. Recommended!
Aaryanjain.ethFantastic Stay at Hostel Fish – Highly Recommended!
I had an amazing experience at Hostel Fish! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is social yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for solo travelers or groups looking to meet new people.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like privacy curtains, lockers, and charging ports by each bed. The common areas, including the bar, were lively and a great place to unwind after exploring Denver. Plus, the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and attractions.
Another highlight was the staff-led activities and recommendations—they genuinely want you to have a great time in the city. If you're looking for a hostel with a fun, social, and comfortable stay, Hostel Fish is the place to be!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – Would absolutely stay again!
GGuest UserI stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. There was no trash can in my room, but there were large trash cans in the corridor. The hair dryer on the bathroom wall did not work, but my hair was short, and it was summer. Thus, I did not mind it. Over the last 2 days, the Wi-Fi in my room did not work. I needed to go to the lobby because the Wi-Fi worked there. It appeared that other guests were also affected because I saw a guest sitting on the corridor floor in front of her room using a laptop. The air conditioning and refrigerator were both noisy, the parking lots sometimes was noisy, too; thus, I slept with earplugs. There was only a table and a chair in my room, which were enough for me because I travel along. If there are multiple people staying in this room, they cannot work at the table at the same time.
