Hotels near John Wareing Monument, Virginia Beach

"The hotel staff was amazing just as well as the hotel. My stay was awesome!! Definitely going back!"

"The Virginia Beach Marriott Hotel is a great choice for a seaside holiday! The location is really amazing, next to the beach, you can step on the sand in a few seconds, and fall asleep with the sound of the waves at night, which is simply a decompression artifact. The sanitation is particularly in place, from the lobby to the corners of the room are very clean, and there is no problem at all. The service is online as a whole, the check-in and check-out efficiency is very high, and the daily consultation can also be patiently answered. The dishes in the restaurant are worth boasting, the standard is medium to high, and the Asian food area is set intimately. It is too friendly for tourists who love Asian food and do not need to find Chinese restaurants everywhere. Very good value for money, recommended to all friends who come to the beach for vacation!"

"Have always loved the Cavelier Spa and restaurants. So I was so happy to book a last minute couples night away with my husband for our 15 year at the Embassy Suites and was not disappointed. The decor and aesthetic is amazing. The music theme was so fun. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We walked over to Orion’s Roof for dinner which is also a family favorite. It was a great 24 hour stay."

"The hotel staff were really nice and helpful! Our room was very nice. The breakfast was very good, I just wish they had bacon and/or sausage links/patties. "

"I arrived an hour and a half before check in and my room wasn't ready yet. I was told I would have to come back. I was not given access to the parking garage so I had to pay to park my car to wait the hour and a half. When my room was ready I had to wait in the car line for 45 minutes just to check in because they were so backed up. When I checked in I was handed 2 room keys and nothing else. I assumed there would be a welcome packet in the room but there was nothing. When the other half of my party arrived they also had to wait in the car line for 45 minutes. The pools were dirty and had face masks floating in them. The first night the AC did not work and it was 80 degrees in the room. I approached the front desk at 9am one morning and requested housekeeping bring new towels and toilet paper to the room because we were out, I also asked if they could take the old towels and garbage which was neatly piled up in 1 location for removal. I was told you had to request this service 24 hours in advance but that they would bring new towels and toilet paper up. I returned at 6pm to find there was no towels or toilet paper in the room. When I called the front desk I was once again told that I had to request these items 24 hours in advance but that they would send someone up anyway. I had 4 people staying in the room and they brought 2 towels so had to make another trip to get me 2 more. When I checked out there was only 1 vallet working so I had to wait over an hour just to leave. There were 2 lines of cars stacked up and the poor kid was working his butt off but could only do so much. I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. "

"The hotel is fine and the room is exactly what was described, the staff are very polite and helpful. It has pools and jacuzzi. However, in the advert they offer a free breakfast which also indicated in the booking confirmation but upon arrival I was informed that breakfast is not included :( . Apparently, the issue is with the app and not wiht the hotel."

"I came down for a quick getaway with my significant other and furry child. The hotel was better than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was kept clean and new looking. The free breakfast was decent. Pet friendly. I would stay there again."

"It was a nice clean motel very good access to the beach and the boardwalk"

"Celebrating my birthday was a great experience. The room was oceanfront. The shower was incredible but the room was very small. There was minimal furniture so everything must stay in the luggage or on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and tv was large but there was nowhere to sit and only 1 nightstand. I suggest a mini fridge and 2 nightstands. Other then that I would recommend checking the Moxy out . Every employee seemed to enjoy working there and everyone was friendly and helpful"
