"Overall, it was a great experience staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Financial District this time. The hotel is ideally located in the Financial District, just a few minutes' walk from the Charging Bull and Battery Park, and also close to the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the complimentary signature warm chocolate chip cookie was delicious and fragrant. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and it was very quiet at night. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast. There are many subway lines nearby, making it convenient for getting around. For Manhattan, the value for money is excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The room was spacious enough, but the bedroom had an odd shape with a beam running overhead. The bathroom had a shower-over-tub setup, and the hygiene was just so-so. We had to request housekeeping every day."

"This property is incredibly convenient, located just a short walk from the subway. The rooms are well-equipped with useful amenities like an iron and power outlets in every corner, including by the bedside—perfect for those with multiple devices. The bathrooms are clean, and with only six rooms per floor, it feels very private and never crowded. The elevators are fast, and the lobby offers complimentary hot water and coffee in generously sized cups. While the breakfast is high quality and diverse, the menu can be repetitive for longer stays, and seating may be limited during peak hours. However, a major drawback is the lack of an in-room safe, which might be inconvenient if you are traveling with many valuables."

"The hotel is very new. The staff at the front desk is very warm. The bed arranged for the first night is small. After the request, I changed the big bed room. The yogurt for breakfast is delicious. The blueberries are delicious and healthy. The location is very convenient. You can walk to the American Indian National Museum in two minutes. The pier on the island by the Statue is also very close"

"Room was small, did not provide water bottles had to go down to the concierge to refill or buy from whole foods-7-11. Our Tv broke down half way but luckily the hotel managed to fix it within a few hours. To boil hot water had to go down to the concierge to do so. No amenities were provided. It is just a place to sleep. For the price was not worth it. I accidentally booked 8 nights which the hotel refused to cancel without giving a reason why. Bear in mind after booking I immediately contacted the hotel to mention this typo but they refused to correct it. Luckily trip.com managed to come through to reimburse me a little for the losses. Overall will not stay again. There are better hotels for the same prices. Only selling point was location was good."

"It was a pretty good place for a single night stay in NY. I wish it had a dental kit (toothbrush and toothpaste) but otherwise, it was a no-drama stay."

"The historic building in the heart of Downtown, near several metro stations, is very classic, like the style of the building, and, as far as I am concerned, I found it pleasant. The presence of wallpaper and wallpaper everywhere, as well as heating plants with air mouths, can cause allergic problems even if cleaning is well-treated. The beds are in French and are quite short; the mattresses are comfortable. Breakfast is only sweet and essential in the offer. A problem with noise heat late night has been solved in a few minutes. Quality/price ratio is definitely advantageous given the New York standards"

"Location of this hotel is excellent, it's very close to Times Square, Madison Garden and the train station. Room was clean, the wallpaper behind the bed was peeling but the rest of the room and bathroom were great. Our AC unit was not working when we first checked in and we did have some difficulty getting someone to fix it. Once we were able to get someone to our room the gentleman fixed it super quickly. They also offer in room dining which is nothing fancy but came to our room very fast. This hotel also offered number of amenities such as an on-site bar and gym but we were not there long enough to explore. I would stay here again if ever in the area."

"If you're planning on moving to Brooklyn, the location is great. The market is nearby, the famous Dumbo is right next to it, and the view is great. However, the area under the bed was not clean and there was too much dust. The facilities were nice with the latest + natural concept. There was construction going on next to the hotel, but it wasn't noisy and it's a hotel I want to visit again."
