"My stay at The Lodge with my mom was really nice. The check in process was super simple. The front desk attendee was really helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. There was a very nice spread for breakfast offered each morning. I was very surprised at the variety of breakfast food provided. Everything was very organized. It also made me feel increasingly safe that the Lodge is located across from a police and firefighting station. Finally, I really liked that the hotel offered a QR code listing different food places and transportation in the surrounding area. The only issue I had with the hotel was paying $25 per night to park at the onsite, uncovered hotel parking lot."

"The room was nice and super clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. They have a simple breakfast but we did not eat it. The free bicycles are perfect for exploring the area. Subway is in walking distance"

"Room was clean and the views were amazing (see photo of the view from our room)! Although it’s a slight distance from manhattan, but it’s worth it. Nearest metro station is across the street but there’s only stairs (something to note if you are carrying luggages!) but the hotel is a walking distance from other metro stations as well so travelling is an ease. Would recommend for those who are looking to stay at a good place in Brooklyn!"

"My stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was generally comfortable, though there are a few things to note. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many eateries nearby, and several train lines within a short walk, making it easy to travel to any part of New York City. The neighbourhood felt safe overall, despite a shooting incident that took place nearby during our stay. The room itself was not super clean, and it contained several exercise equipment items, which may not suit everyone. While the concept is unique, it made the room feel a bit cluttered. That said, the hotel’s surroundings and accessibility remain its strongest points. It is a practical option if you value convenience and easy access to transport and food choices."

"Overall, it was a great experience staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Financial District this time. The hotel is ideally located in the Financial District, just a few minutes' walk from the Charging Bull and Battery Park, and also close to the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the complimentary signature warm chocolate chip cookie was delicious and fragrant. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and it was very quiet at night. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast. There are many subway lines nearby, making it convenient for getting around. For Manhattan, the value for money is excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The hotel is new, clean and hygienic. Hot water, coffee and tea are available all day on the underground floor. There is a billiard table in the gym. The American breakfast is delicious. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and the service is good. The hotel is in a good location, about 4 minutes away from the subway station, and there is a self-service laundry room about 3 minutes walk from the hotel, which solves the laundry problem. Highly recommended."

"I used it as a hostel on the last day of New York. It's a bit far from Manhattan, but it was very good to go to the airport and have its own free parking. It's a hotel and very clean and I recommend it among the hotels I stayed in New York."

"Location is fantastic, surrounded by a mall, some supermarkets. The nearby train stations are equipped with elevators. Check-in was swift, room was cleaned daily. TV channels are aplenty, bathroom facilities are quite complete (except no toothbrush and toothpaste). The only problem I had was having my room door too close to the neighbouring room. As the guest next door kept slamming his door, on my end the sound effect felt like someone kept trying to open my room door."
