"Overall, it was a great experience staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Financial District this time. The hotel is ideally located in the Financial District, just a few minutes' walk from the Charging Bull and Battery Park, and also close to the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the complimentary signature warm chocolate chip cookie was delicious and fragrant. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and it was very quiet at night. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast. There are many subway lines nearby, making it convenient for getting around. For Manhattan, the value for money is excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The hotel is very new. The staff at the front desk is very warm. The bed arranged for the first night is small. After the request, I changed the big bed room. The yogurt for breakfast is delicious. The blueberries are delicious and healthy. The location is very convenient. You can walk to the American Indian National Museum in two minutes. The pier on the island by the Statue is also very close"

"I had a wonderful stay at a hotel near Wall Street in New York. The location was perfect, within walking distance of major financial landmarks and subway stations, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and great city views. The staff were professional and attentive, always ready to help with any requests. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel was surprisingly quiet at night. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and a convenient base for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again."

"We got upgraded which was very nice. The place was beautiful. Only thing is that our room we couldn’t adjust the temperature and in November having the AC on and not being able to turn it off made the room very cold. Otherwise everything else was great. Location was perfect for us because we had a wedding close by. Night time gets a little weird. Wall st use to be a quiet area but it became a party place at night."

"The room wasn't big, but the location was excellent, situated between Midtown and Lower Manhattan, within Chinatown. It was a comfortable place for first-time visitors to New York."

"The staff were incredibly friendly and always available at the counter. The location was also excellent for sightseeing, being close to the Whitehall Terminal and the subway. Amenities included a good selection of soaps, and towels were changed, and beds were made daily. The breakfast varied slightly each day, which was very satisfying. My only minor disappointment was the lack of a razor among the amenities."

"This property is incredibly convenient, located just a short walk from the subway. The rooms are well-equipped with useful amenities like an iron and power outlets in every corner, including by the bedside—perfect for those with multiple devices. The bathrooms are clean, and with only six rooms per floor, it feels very private and never crowded. The elevators are fast, and the lobby offers complimentary hot water and coffee in generously sized cups. While the breakfast is high quality and diverse, the menu can be repetitive for longer stays, and seating may be limited during peak hours. However, a major drawback is the lack of an in-room safe, which might be inconvenient if you are traveling with many valuables."

"Room was small, did not provide water bottles had to go down to the concierge to refill or buy from whole foods-7-11. Our Tv broke down half way but luckily the hotel managed to fix it within a few hours. To boil hot water had to go down to the concierge to do so. No amenities were provided. It is just a place to sleep. For the price was not worth it. I accidentally booked 8 nights which the hotel refused to cancel without giving a reason why. Bear in mind after booking I immediately contacted the hotel to mention this typo but they refused to correct it. Luckily trip.com managed to come through to reimburse me a little for the losses. Overall will not stay again. There are better hotels for the same prices. Only selling point was location was good."

"We had a good experience at Gild Hall. Only stayed for one night, but it had everything we needed. Big bed, clean bathroom, okay view. The location was great for us, as we were able to walk to everywhere, and the subway was only a couple blocks away which was extra convenient as well. However, there were lines for checking in and out (only one person was working the front desk) so that was a little annoying. We also couldn't check in until 4pm (pretty late compared to other hotels), with no options of a late checkout (had to leave by noon)."

"Booked this hotel for a concert, and the location was absolutely perfect. I didn't even need to take the subway; Madison Square Garden was within walking distance. The area around the hotel felt very safe, and it was easy to find."
