"I love the location personally because it’s a little tucked away and surrounded by greenery. The hotel staff are very friendly. The rooms are large and some have good views. The furnishings are a little dated but it’s still a lovely feel to the hotel. Depending on the dates it can be good value at times."

It also has parking, though it costs $25 per day, but that's typical for city parking prices. The hotel is old and needs renovation, but the beds are very good and comfortable. The bathroom needs an upgrade. Overall, the value for money was good."

"The facilities are not modern, but I slept well. I was so satisfied with the small heater noise. Over 70 I traveled with my mom. You liked breakfast. I was so satisfied with the free shuttle to Balston Station. I liked the quiet and clean neighborhood atmosphere than Washington."

"It's a relatively clean, non-smoking hotel, which is quite environmentally friendly. Cleaning requires an appointment. It's a 10-minute walk from the Blue Line subway station, and there are several supermarkets nearby. There are also many restaurants within a 10-minute walk, making it quite suitable for tourism or business trips."

"Absolutely loved staying at the Churchill Hotel! It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to DuPont Circle and the Metro. Very safe neighborhood. There is a separate area in the room with a desk. Actually, large enough to use as a dressing room! We will definitely be going back and staying at the Churchill."

"The location is very close to the famous street, the White House, a few minutes walk to Georgetown University, the health is also very good, the 1305 restaurant downstairs is very good and worth trying! "Overall was a great stayed. Walked in the hotel right hand side was a bar. Also a restaurant on the main floor. The hotel offered valet parking for a fee. (Shop around for parking near by) I picked this hote was walkable and near by Foggy Bottom Metro station very convenient. Uber took about fifteen minutes to Washington DC museum area. Check in was very efficient. Unfortunately we got in some issues regarding for this booking. Long story short, a manager Mahmoud C was very patient and professional to resolve the issues for us. It was not what we wanted but there was no other better choice. We only stayed one night in The Melrose Georgetown Hotel. The room was spacious and well maintained. It was very comfortable."
