"We were very pleased with our stay at the Grand Silay Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-10-minute walk from Kızılay. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was quite good. We were pleased with the regular daily cleaning. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. For a 3-star hotel, the service quality far exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive to guests. When we opened the window in our room, there was a slight humming noise from outside, but with the window closed, we had no problems. I think they would have helped us immediately if we had asked to change rooms, but it was entirely our choice to open the balcony door and not use the air conditioning. For the price-performance ratio, I can definitely recommend this hotel, and it will be our choice again when we return to Ankara."

"Location is super, in the city center. Near to restaurants, cafes, shops and big mosque. Place is comfortable and well planned. Usually the owner himself is in reception. He is very nice and helpful. He provided the towel for free, explained everything and said to call him if need any help. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean. Totally recommend!"

The hotel facilities are just average, as it's an older property, and the rooms aren't very spacious. It's worth noting that the hotel only rebranded to Mercure in 2024, so if you search on maps, it might still show the old hotel name."
