I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yuu Hotel & Cafe in Ubon Ratchathani, and it truly exceeded my expectations! This stylish boutique hotel, with its charming French-colonial-inspired decor, is perfectly located in the heart of the city.
From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was incredibly smooth and efficient. The staff were warm, friendly, and super quick, making me feel welcome right away. They even greeted me with a complimentary welcome drink—a refreshing choice of matoom tea or Chinese tea—which was a lovely touch after the journey.
My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly (nice and cool!), and all the essentials were provided: fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. What impressed me most was the thoughtful universal power plugs along with both USB-A and USB-C ports right by the bed—perfect for charging all my devices without needing adapters.
Breakfast was another highlight! You get to choose one main dish from a variety of options (Thai and Western), and there's a generous buffet line with yogurt, cereals, salads, fresh fruits, bread, patongo (Thai-style doughnuts), coffee, cocoa, and more. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Downstairs, the hotel's own restaurant and cafe is fantastic. Upon check-in, I received a free mocktail voucher, and the food was really tasty. The live music in the evenings was beautiful and added such a nice vibe.
One of the best perks? The hotel offers free bicycles for guests to borrow—great for exploring the nearby night market or city park.
But the absolute standout moment was at the lobby cafe. The staff there are incredibly kind and attentive. I pre-ordered a cake in advance and asked if they could decorate the plate like a birthday cake. Not only did they happily do it, but they went above and beyond to make it special. The service was so heartwarming and made my stay truly memorable!
Overall, Yuu Hotel & Cafe is a perfect blend of comfort, style, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ubon Ratchathani—whether for business or leisure. I'll definitely be back!

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You never feel like just a guest – warm conversations quickly develop, and you can sense that these are people who work here with joy and passion.
Whether at check-in, in the restaurant, or just in between – the team is always present, attentive, and wonderfully uncomplicated.

GGuest UserIf you like staying somewhere near the heart of the city, but also wanna save your funds, this place is a good option for you. there’s 7-11 next to the place, park, and food places all around. the only thing that was kind of inconvenient is that the AC took quite some time to cool the room, so i guess it’s because its kinda old. The staff were all so kind and nice. we had great experiences there.

Restaurants and Big C shopping mall you will reach soon. Maybe 500m.
We booked a Suite because that is for my understanding a very high room level.
The presentation on the Internet was far from reality.
A noGo was the sofa in the room. It was broken and waste only. A hole in the wall wasn't suite likely. We havn't really space there.
If you have heavy luggage there is no elevator.
If you wake up later some food was cold. I asked for heating the sausage's. The soup was good.
There is a lot of space up... Maybe another room has a new sofa. For my understanding a Suite is much more, but the room rate is also not like a Suite....
This is a medium standard house. Okay but not more.

NNatpiyachanThe room is clean and spacious. The room has a lot of space, with a sofa, dryer, and medium-sized refrigerator. The sheets, pillowcases and blankets are a very nice touch. (So good that I asked to buy it but the hotel didn't sell it) Excellent service staff, delicious food, dishes and desserts that change the menu every day. Near 7-Eleven, there is a fitness center and bicycles to borrow to ride. Overall very good.

The hotel's location was fantastic – just a short walk from Ubon Square and Big C Supermarket, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and grabbing essentials.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and local tips. While not luxurious, the hotel offered excellent value for the price.
