"We found Bea, Ricardo, Michael and the security guard really helpful. In fact all staff went out of there way. We were also pleasantly surprised at how large our room was after coming from another hotel where we had to jump our bags. I can’t remember which room we booked but it was room no 6128. Would recommend to anyone."

"The hotel is right across the water but please note that the taxi might refuse to take u up the ramp so if u have heavy luggages make sure to have the hotel talk to the taxi because it’s a bit of a slope and the street is made of pebbles so it’s hard to wheel the suitcases The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Mr Luiz Guilherme The breakfast and afternoon tea and local baked goods are both included in the room rate and both the selection and quality is really good they even have lactose free milk at breakfast."

"Impeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google."

"The location is wonderful in the city center. Everything is nearby: restaurants, cafes, and magnificent views. The hotel is easily accessible by metro. We had a room with a river view, and it was truly beautiful. We had a wonderful experience in Porto, and the hotel only enhanced that feeling."

"Странно, что данный отель имеет 4 звезды. Из плюсов - местоположение, чистота, убирались и меняли полотенца каждый день! А теперь минусы. При заселении у меня запросили в качестве залога номер карты! И не просто номер и срок действия, а ещё и три цифры на обороте чтобы я им сказала…. Вы серьезно? Это абсолютно конфиденциальная информация! Я могу ввести самостоятельно код при покупке чего либо, но кому то его передавать-нет! И никто не в праве требовать это с меня! С горем пополам я пыталась объяснить это молодому человеку на стойке регистрации, минут 10 меня убеждали, в итоге пошли мне на встречу) Вообще, почему никто здесь в комментариях об этом не пишет? Это же ненормально. Далее- в номере не хватало зубной щетки, зубной пасты, кондиционера для волос и халата (в описании номера все это входит в стандарт). Я сказала об этом на ресепшене. Через пол часа мне все принесли, кроме халата. Я решила, что он все таки не входит. И о чудо, в последний день прибывания мне его принесли. Как говорится- лучше поздно, чем никогда. Ну и неохлаждающий холодильник. Поменяли его на следующий день. Мне кажется, такого при имении 4 звезд быть не должно. Ну и еще момент. Я заметила, что при заселении всех угощали портвейном . Мне даже не предложили. Видимо из-за того, что я не сказала данные карты банковской."

"I liked the most among European hotels I went to this time on my honeymoon. It's a small but lovely and very pretty hotel. When I was curious, it was said that it was built in 1829, but it is in excellent condition. It was rather antique and very good. When you open the window, the view is so pretty as if it were in a fairy tale. In the plaza in front, they perform performances, and they are gathered right in front of the bar restaurant, so the location is the best. If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel!! (Breakfast is tidy, but there are too few eggplants.)"

"We arrived in Lisbon around 9 PM, and the taxi could only drop us off on another main street, requiring a short walk up an incline to reach the hotel. The same applied when we left early in the morning. Perhaps some roads are blocked at night by those retractable bollards. The hotel's decor style is quite dark, with black carpets and such. Our room's window opened up to a very high wall, which felt quite oppressive. The room was small and didn't have a coffee maker; they provided Nescafé instant coffee, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the water pressure from the sink faucet was quite low. The hotel breakfast, however, was fantastic! I had so many salmon slices, and the restaurant staff were incredibly professional, making it feel like dining in a Michelin-starred restaurant. When we left the hotel at 6:30 AM, they had prepared two large takeaway breakfast bags for us, filled with sandwiches, pastries, two small custard tarts, a bottle of water, a bottle of juice, an apple, and even made two hot cappuccinos for us to take on the go. We were truly delighted!"
