"This hotel is newly built, so all the facilities were brand new and clean. It was my first time staying at an apartment hotel, and it was very convenient, equipped with everything from air conditioning, a refrigerator, electric kettle, and microwave, all by Smeg, to simple cooking utensils. The location in the heart of the old town felt safe and made getting around easy. However, since it's a very stylish and modern hotel, you shouldn't expect classic hotel services like towel changes, slippers, and complimentary bottled water. In particular, I was very disappointed when I left used towels crumpled by the sink, only to find them unfolded and rehung. I know that housekeeping services aren't always provided for short-term stays these days, but being asked to reuse damp towels was quite inconvenient."

"Impeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google."

"We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel. The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal. Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Fantastic central location - couldn't have asked for better. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were brilliant - friendly faces and efficient with everything we asked for. What really makes this place special though is the building itself. It's stunning with gorgeous architectural details. The interior design is elegant without being stuffy. All in all, a real gem that ticks all the boxes for comfort, service and style."

"We arrived in Lisbon around 9 PM, and the taxi could only drop us off on another main street, requiring a short walk up an incline to reach the hotel. The same applied when we left early in the morning. Perhaps some roads are blocked at night by those retractable bollards. The hotel's decor style is quite dark, with black carpets and such. Our room's window opened up to a very high wall, which felt quite oppressive. The room was small and didn't have a coffee maker; they provided Nescafé instant coffee, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the water pressure from the sink faucet was quite low. The hotel breakfast, however, was fantastic! I had so many salmon slices, and the restaurant staff were incredibly professional, making it feel like dining in a Michelin-starred restaurant. When we left the hotel at 6:30 AM, they had prepared two large takeaway breakfast bags for us, filled with sandwiches, pastries, two small custard tarts, a bottle of water, a bottle of juice, an apple, and even made two hot cappuccinos for us to take on the go. We were truly delighted!"

"The hotel's location is superb, close to many attractions, shops, and restaurants, yet it's surprisingly quiet. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is fresh and delicious! The rooms are clean and hygienic. We happened to be there on the eve of Festa de São João, and the hotel even provided inflatable plastic hammers for everyone to 'friendly tap' each other on the street for fun. We could also watch the fireworks from our balcony at night! Highly recommended."

"Our first room was big and with good view. However, the shower didn’t work well. So we had to move to another room which was much smaller and darker. The whole communication process was terrible, the staffs didn’t believe our problem at first and never showed any sorry for the inconvenience this hotel caused. Anyway, it’s a very disappointing experience!"
