"The hotel's location is superb, close to many attractions, shops, and restaurants, yet it's surprisingly quiet. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is fresh and delicious! The rooms are clean and hygienic. We happened to be there on the eve of Festa de São João, and the hotel even provided inflatable plastic hammers for everyone to 'friendly tap' each other on the street for fun. We could also watch the fireworks from our balcony at night! Highly recommended."

"We found Bea, Ricardo, Michael and the security guard really helpful. In fact all staff went out of there way. We were also pleasantly surprised at how large our room was after coming from another hotel where we had to jump our bags. I can’t remember which room we booked but it was room no 6128. Would recommend to anyone."

"The room was small but good enough for a solo traveller like myself. I was very surprised on the quality of cleanliness and daily housekeeping - for this price it was truly commendable. The towels were exceptionally clean, and I did not get rashes unlike a previous time at a five star hotel elsewhere. There was only a shampoo-body wash in the toilet but it was manageable. I like how convenient it was to Bolbao metro station and the supermarket was directly below the hotel. There were many good restaurants a stone's throw away. While I was worried at first of the few homeless men when I left my room early to head out for my day tours, I later realised that they leave tourists alone. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, safety and friendliness of the city. I would strongly reccommend Porto and this hotel to solo female travellers."

"Everyone at the hotel was very kind to us. The location is also very convenient for sightseeing, and everything is within walking distance. They explain the location on a map at the beginning, which makes it very easy to understand. Also, although we weren't able to get a reservation this time, there is a restaurant called Blind, which has an unusual concept and I think it is a space where you can experience something out of the ordinary. Almost all of the rooms are suites, and the space is very stylish and lovely."

"Impeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google."
