Maita :)
Amazing experience! Kasper (hope I remembered his name correctly), the young man at the reception, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He helped us arrange a room with a sofa bed—the bed was already made when we checked in—and he also gave us lots of great tips for visiting Gdańsk.
My child absolutely loved the stay, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Since we had to check out very early at 3:40 a.m., the team thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box for us, which we truly appreciated.
The room was spacious, the bathroom felt very new, and there were no unpleasant smells at all. The only small downside was the lack of a mini fridge.
The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from Sopot, the Old Town, and the airport. The train station is just a 3–4 minute walk away, which makes getting around very convenient.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay away from crowded tourist areas while still enjoying a comfortable stay and an excellent breakfast.

Sasha Stanthis hotel is by far the most excellent places located for a Gdansk trip in the old town. I had a couple of recommandations for food and I kid you not, eerything was 3 minutes away
The check-in was smooth, we had the nist important amenities, the umbrella.
While it's july the weather is quite bipolar.
We didn't try the breakfast option as specialty coffee places are a dime a dozen.
I can go on about the good things for this hotel, alas, nothing is perfect.
First room in the hotel smelled like a whole regiment had a running marathon and left the stinky shoes and socks in the locker for two days. I hope it paints a good picture, however reception wad kind enough to change the room.
While the room change helped, the smell still persisted, as such we made use of tbe windows (the room probably never smelled so good after we left).
By openning the windows, we exposed ourselves to the bane of everyone's existence, the bell's of hell that ring at all hours of the night and day, enough times to raise the dead and make them want to die again. Again, an issue most people might not have if they keep the windows closed, alas, there is a choice, old socks and trainers smell vs the reigning champion bell's of hell.
The choice is yours my dear reader.
Bonus points for the picture of Malbork castle that is an absolute must

Anonymous UserSpectacular Rooftop Lounge: The hotel's crown jewel is its Sky Bar, a 24-hour panoramic rooftop venue. Guests rave about sitting out on the terrace with a drink to watch the sunset over the red-brick roofs of the old city.
Modern, River-View Rooms: Accommodations are uniformly praised for being impeccably clean, spacious, and quiet due to top-notch soundproofing. Booking a room facing the river is highly recommended by past guests for the beautiful view of passing boats and illuminated historic architecture.
Outstanding Dining: The open-concept lobby restaurant serves highly regarded international and Polish dishes. The breakfast buffet is routinely singled out for being vast and delicious, featuring everything from local fresh fish to an extensive selection of pastries and cooked-to-order items.

Anonymous UserOne of the most satisfied hostels I’ve stayed in Europe at such good price. 24/7 reception. Free water refill machine. Free good wifi. Separated male and female toilet and shower rooms (all in same floor tho), all-in-one shower gel(?) and hair dryers equipped. Many lockers on the floor (need to ask reception for the lock I think but not sure). New bed sheet, duvet sheet and pillow case provided. Very clean overall. Each bed has own x1 plug for charging and x1 reading light. View is amazing. Very good location (close to old town). Stunning view on rooftop (I didn’t upload the pics for the view tho), residents can get drinks there. Staff are very efficient and helpful, even the residents are really nice. The rooms and washroom/toilet are bright and spacious. Bins in each room. Restaurant right on G/F. AND the convenience store is just 1 min away. Kitchen with fridge, cups and utensils equipped, although the pan and pots are a bit old(?), I don’t need to cook anyway. Luggage storage available for residents. I feel very safe as a solo female traveler. I booked this only the night before but didn’t expect I would be this satisfied, what a good surprise to me. Making my experience here extra good.

No Proper Air Conditioning – Uncomfortably Hot Stay
The apartment is in an excellent location—just a couple of minutes’ walk from Gdańsk Old Town—which is a real plus. It has all the basic amenities you’d expect: a washing machine, fridge, electric stove top, and the bathroom and bed were both clean and well-kept.
However, guests need to collect the apartment keys from a separate property management office rather than at the apartment itself, which is a bit inconvenient.
More importantly, the lack of a proper air conditioning unit really undermined the stay. The apartment only had a small, low-powered fan, which meant it was uncomfortably hot from the moment I arrived until I left. Sleeping at night was particularly difficult, even though the outside temperature was only in the high teens to low twenties—so I dread to think what it would be like during a real heatwave.
It’s a nice apartment in theory, but the absence of proper cooling makes it hard to recommend in warmer weather. After two nights, I moved to Apart Neptune in the Old Town, which had full air conditioning and was far more comfortable.

Guest UserAparthotel is in a suburb of Gdansk (Wrzeszcz) but next to the train station and 2 shopping malls makes it somehow convenient even for Gdansk (and Sopot) visits. The apartments are all tiny and small - like a ”tube”, Bathroom (shower) first, then fully equiped kitchen and Queensize bed (1,6m), most have balconies. There is NO TV (on requets potentially charged) or working desk but 2026 I'm fine with that: they have co-working areas and leisuer places where you can watch TV and work. Quite big Sauna (girls and boys seperately) is great (you need to ask reception to switch it on 30mins before you wonna use)
Parking is free outside in the street from 17-9, Saturday and Sunday (and holidays) all day free (easy to find) - in ca. 10min walkig distance is 24/7 free parking (easy to find)
NOTE Trip.com doesn't provide you with the needed self-checkincode and won't be able to help with AI-chat - just arrive before 22, there is a receptionist inside who will sooner or later come to assist you.... if you checkin only 1 person, you'll get only 1 key!

Guest UserThe convenient location, varied breakfast, and friendly staff at reception and in the dining area were the only positives. I was very disappointed by the extremely small rooms and the absence of bathrobes, slippers, and toothbrushes, which is quite strange for a 5-star hotel. The dirty windows, covered in bird droppings, completely ruined the overall impression of the hotel. I also have to mention the hotel's ”eco-initiative”: we never received any of the promised gifts! This hotel is not worth its 5 stars; I do not recommend it!

The hotel is very conveniently located, which is definitely a plus. However, there are several issues that prevent it from truly living up to its five-star rating.
At check-in, we were not informed that parking was paid. As a result, after three days of stay, we were required to pay a rather significant amount at check-out, which came as an unpleasant surprise.
The rooms are generally comfortable and well equipped, but in the bathroom there were noticeable uncleaned areas and fingerprints on the faucets, indicating that housekeeping was not done thoroughly.
I would also like to specifically mention the breakfasts, which were a complete disappointment. From a five-star hotel belonging to an international chain, a very different standard is expected. The food was not fresh and appeared dried out (see photos), the selection did not change from day to day, there was almost no pastry, desserts were limited to just two items, and there were no vegetarian options at all, which seems strange for a hotel of this level.

김끼라You could go downtown by tram or bus. However, the tram departure time was a bit long. Of course, you can walk downtown, but it takes about 30 minutes. The accommodation seemed a bit old and not that clean, but it was usable.
